Obama 04

For the last year and a half, and perhaps even a bit longer in some cases, it’s from the left that we’ve heard nothing but whining as well as accusations of every sort about how it is that President Trump has maligned those poor folks in our state-controlled media.  We have continually been told how it is that this president specifically is nothing short of a “threat to the freedom of the press.”  Yet oddly enough all of those now accusing President Trump of attacking the media seem to be suffering from a case of selective amnesia when it comes to another recent president who actually did pose a very real threat to freedom of the press.

And of course it is of Barry ‘O’ of whom I speak.  A guy who, during a recent speech at the University of Illinois, said, “It shouldn’t be Democratic or Republican to say that we don’t threaten the freedom of the press because — they say things or publish stories we don’t like.”  And it was then that he went on to say, “I complained plenty about Fox News, but you never heard me threaten to shut them down, or call them ‘enemies of the people.’” Barry certainly had his issues with Fox News. Newsweek actually described the conflict between them as “a war.”  But to be honest, Barry’s war with the media wasn’t limited only to Fox News.

In fact, Barry’s treatment of the media was so bad that even New York Times public editor Margaret Sullivan criticized him in 2013 for what she called “unprecedented secrecy and unprecedented attacks on a free press.” And it was David E. Sanger, the chief Washington correspondent for The Times, who said of Barry’s administration, “This is the most closed, control-freak administration I’ve ever covered.” According to a report on press freedoms by the highly respected Committee to Protect Journalists, “In the Obama administration’s Washington, government officials are increasingly afraid to talk to the press.”

And it’s hard to imagine, given how it was that so many of our so-called ‘journalists’ perceived Barry as being the greatest thing since sliced bread, that his administration would have been so antagonistic toward those in the press.  But the evidence that he was a true enemy of our ‘free press’ is nothing short of astounding, all one has to do is to look. Those in left-leaning media of today who insist upon calling President Trump’s attacks on the media unprecedented, conveniently ignore all that took place during Barry’s eight year reign in the White House.  So as a refresher here are five examples of Barry’s attacks committed against our ‘free’ press:

  1. Manipulating media coverage: While media was generally very positive toward Barry ‘O’, he wasn’t willing to risk losing control in an interview while he was running for reelection should a ‘journalist’ actually try to ask a tough question. To solve this problem, Barry only went to local media outlets to do interviews.

Why does this matter? Well, the reason is control. National media outlets would not be so open to ground rules for interviews. But local media outlets were another story. Local news stations don’t often get the opportunity to interview the president of the United States and are far more willing to agree to ground rules, such as establishing what topics can be discussed or what questions can’t be asked.

Barry was clearly more comfortable when he could dictate the terms of an interview. By August 2012, Barry had done fifty-eight local media interviews, but only eight national media interviews.

  1. Proposed government monitors in newsrooms: The Constitution protects freedom of the press because a free press is a check on the power of our elected leaders. Barry didn’t want this check, not on his watch, and made many efforts to rein it in. Early in his second term, Barry’s FCC proposed a new program that would have put FCC agents in media newsrooms “to determine how stories were selected, whether there was bias in reporting,” and whether “critical information needs” were being met. These monitors would be placed not only in broadcast newsrooms, but also print media outlets that the FCC had no regulatory authority over. Because the FCC controls licensing of broadcast media, these monitors would have been effective intimidation tools… a constant reminder to the media that if the government didn’t like what you were saying, your license to broadcast could be revoked.

Who knows what would have happened had it not been for FCC commissioner Ajit Pai (now chairman under President Trump), who exposed the existence of the proposed program in 2014, causing outrage and the eventual scrapping of the program.

  1. Threatening journalists for negative coverage: After trying to blame Republicans for so-called sequestration budget “cuts,” Barry was less than thrilled when ‘journalist’ Bob Woodward wrote both in his book, ‘The Price of Politics’, and in an early 2013 opinion piece in The Washington Post that automatic spending cuts had been proposed by the White House and personally approved and signed into law by Barry ‘O’. Less than a week after the piece ran, Woodward revealed that a senior White House official warned him he would “regret” calling Barry out for his role in the sequester.  After Woodward revealed his experience, other ‘journalists’ came forward with similar stories.

Ron Fournier, the former editor-in-chief of National Journal, said of Barry’s administration: “I received several emails and telephone calls from this White House official filled with vulgarity, abusive language, and virtually the same phrase that Woodward called a veiled threat.” Lanny Davis, ‘Slick Willy’ Clinton’s longtime advisor and now lawyer to Michael Cohen, also came forward with claims he had received similar threats for unflattering pieces he wrote about Barry in the Washington Times. Liberal ‘journalist’ Jonathan Alter said he’d been subjected to abusive treatment from Barry’s administration for writing something they didn’t like. “There is a kind of threatening tone that, from time to time — not all the time — comes out of these guys,” he said. A young female reporter was called crude names in an email for merely asking important questions of a Barry ‘O’ cabinet secretary.

  1. Spying on the media: If threatening ‘journalists’ for asking tough questions and writing unflattering articles isn’t bad enough, all I can say is that it gets worse. Barry & Co. actually spied on the media. Less than six months into Barry’s second term we learned that his Justice Department secretly obtained two months of phone records of AP reporters and editors. What was Barry & Co. after? They wouldn’t say, but Gary Pruitt, the president and CEO of the Associated Press, had an idea:

He said, “These records potentially reveal communications with confidential sources across all of the newsgathering activities undertaken by the AP during a two-month period, provide a road map to AP’s newsgathering operations and disclose information about AP’s activities and operations that the government has no conceivable right to know.”

Similarly, the Justice Department secretly obtained then-Fox News reporter James Rosen’s phone records, tracked his movements, and read his emails while investigating possible leaks of classified information to Rosen for an article on North Korea’s nuclear program. One consequence of Barry &Co.’s spying was that longtime sources stopped talking to the Associated Press and other news organizations.

  1. Trying to jail journalists and whistleblowers: For all of President Trump’s mean words and use of the term “fake news,” I think we can all agree that such things aren’t nearly as bad as threatening and spying on journalists, right? Do you still think Barry ‘O’ was an advocate of the free press?  What if I told you he actually tried to put journalists in jail, for simply doing their jobs! The aforementioned James Rosen, who was subjected to spying Barry & Co., was also threatened with jail time when Barry’s Justice Department labeled him a “co-conspirator” with one of his sources who was charged with violating the Espionage Act of 1917 for leaking the information to Rosen. Another ‘journalist,’ James Risen of the New York Times, was similarly treated as a co-conspirator with a government source indicted by Barry & Co. under the Espionage Act. Risen was subpoenaed, and originally compelled to testify against one of his sources.

Barry & Co. used the Espionage Act six times in eight years to go after government sources, more than double the number of all previous administrations combined. Risen would later describe Barry & Co. as “the greatest enemy of press freedom in a generation.”

Leonard Downie Jr., the former executive director of the Washington Post, said “the administration’s war on leaks and other efforts to control information are the most aggressive I’ve seen since the Nixon administration.”

I’m of the opinion that a good analogy for the press would be to say it’s like that woman who keeps going back to the significant other even though he continues to mistreat her. Barry hated the press, and yet they did provide service.  They repeatedly lied for him. They were absolutely giddy in his ‘God-like’ presence.  And in the end, the public actually realized that the press doesn’t report ‘news.’  They now take anything that happens and spin it against Trump. He gets 92% negative coverage, yet somehow still manages to get 44 to 48% favorability ratings. The majority of this country hates the media and so now pays little or no attention to them.

Barry tended to strike out only at those in the press who dared to tell the truth about his deception.  Hence his war against Fox News.  President Trump strikes out at our ‘fake news’ media for lying about him, for spreading misinformation and disinformation for no other reason than because they don’t like him. Today those in our so-called ‘free press’ tend to operate more like members of a state-run propaganda machine not unlike Pravda.  I would strongly recommend to my fellow citizens that they do their homework like a lot of folks are now doing.  It’s not hard to put the pieces together if you don’t prejudge the content.

The press hates President Trump because he happens to be ONLY one of few Republicans who possesses the requisite gonads to call the ‘fake news’ media exactly what it is.  The fact is those who comprise our ‘fake news’ media spend 90 percent of their time trying to take down our duly elected president after spending 90 percent of their time kissing Barry’s ass.  Why should it be seen as acceptable for the media to tell non-stop lies about him?  And why is it that just because past Republican presidents have cowered before the media and tried to earn their love, does it mean that President Trump should continue that incredibly insane practice?

Something new is now causing even more liberal heads to explode, and this times it’s a recent poll that shows grassroots Republicans actually approve of President Trump’s performance in Helsinki, this despite the very best efforts put forward by liberal Democrats and the many ‘fake news’ media pundits desperate to trash the president for absolutely everything he did, does, said and says.  The Axios/SurveyMonkey poll asked, “Do you approve or disapprove of the way Trump handled his press conference with Putin?”  And 79 percent of Republicans said they approved.

And it’s one of those many exploding heads that can said to belong to none other than Joe Scarborough, faux conservative host of MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe.’  And it was during last Friday’s thrilling episode of his MSNBC program that a rather incredulous Scarborough went so far as to ask, “Who the hell are these people?”  But look, Joe and his ilk are, to put it mildly, stunned that President Trump would invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to the United States, when Trump’s recent meeting in Helsinki was referred to as being nothing short of treasonous by elites such as Joe.

Joe went on to ask, “Who are these people and what have they done to my party?”  HIS party?  Is he serious?   Because to my way of thinking he most certainly is no Republican, and he really does need to stop trying to pass himself off as a Conservative, because he is anything but.  What he and his commie cohost, and future wife, would be far more at home in some leftist European paradise.  Because for whatever reason they both seem to hate America.  And as you may recall Joe has made known, and rather loudly, that he has chosen to leave the Republican Party.

Anyway, Joe then proceeded to sound even more unhinged when he chose to put his own rather unique spin on this very same poll by making the rather idiotic argument that it showed 80 percent of Republicans apparently “think it’s okay to cower before before an ex-KGB agent, to insult allies. You do wonder, is it just a Donald Trump problem now? This is a problem with the party cast wide.”  Joe again warned that support for President Trump will ultimately “destroy” the Republican Party.  But then why is this boob worried about the fate of the Republican Party?  He left it!

And joining in on the rant was MSNBC contributor John Heilemann who said: “I think the corruption and bankruptcy of the Republican Party has been a long time in the making, but there is no Republican Party any more in any sense that you would have defined the Republican Party ten years ago, and the way that you would have, what the Republican Party stood for, at least in the post-World War II era.”  Now there’s a sensible sounding guy, right?  Fits right in with the rest of the ‘looney tunes’ folks there at MSNBC and the majority of those in the ‘fake news’ media.

Obviously what Joe either fails to realize, or is trying very hard to ignore, is the fact that more and more people now trust people like him less and less because of what they perceive as being a blatant bias against President Trump.  And add to that, people don’t appreciate being insulted or talked down to by these supposed journalistic elites in the fake news’ media, like Joe and his elitist drinking buddies on the D.C. cocktail circuit. They don’t believe Joe; even when he may have a point other than the one on the top of his head.  Simply put, Joe as no credibility!

And Joe seems incapable of grasping that WE (the people) voted for Trump for the specific purpose of destroying that which he refers to as ‘his’ Republican Party made up of those commonly referred to as RINOs, and his Democrat Party as well!  In other words, to drain ‘The Swamp’! Both parties seem to be completely out of control, believing that they are NOT there to serve the people but that the people are there to serve them. So what part, exactly, of drain ‘The Swamp’ does Joe not understand?  Either get on board Joe or go curl up in a corner somewhere.

And you know, let’s not forget that it was the Republican Party of ten years ago that gave us McCain/Palin, a presidential ticket that was virtually guaranteed to lose against the young, charismatic, charming minority candidate.  True, Barry ‘O’ was elected ONLY because he was black and it was decided that it was ‘time’ to have a black president.  And his re-election was because those who voted him in the first time refused to believe they were wrong, and the Republicans bolstered his chances by giving us another RINO, who while he was a nice guy, was a horrible candidate.

In 2016 Hitlery ran on the same premise as Barry ‘O’, in that it was ‘time’ for a female president and her other qualifications were as fake as her sincerity and smile.  She is an expert con woman and every job or office she had was a joke. For her to be ‘inline’ to be president is a slap in the face to every American.  And had we had as our Republican candidate a Jeb Bush or a Marco Rubio or, God forbid, a John Kasich, the outcome in 2016 would have been the very same as that in 2008 and 2012. But we didn’t.  We had Donald J. Trump and that made ALL the difference.

And I’m sorry to be the one to have to tell ya, Joe, but there is now a growing number of us deplorables who have become very determined in our efforts to ensure that the obsequious docile Republican Party is dead.  We value actions over words. We prefer a president who is accomplishing great things, though he is mouthy, over one who is expert at reading a teleprompter and dispensing sweet words while completely inept as a leader.  In less than two years President Trump has made far more significant progress on the truly important issues than Barry ‘O’ made in eight!

Let’s face it, President Trump has brought us the lowest unemployment rate EVER for black and Hispanic citizens, the lowest for women in decades, a near 50 year low unemployment for the country overall, and small businesses are booming.  We have the highest labor participation rate ever. He has made us the largest exporter of petroleum products in the world, no longer holding our hands out to countries in the Middle East who want us dead.  President Trump has also wiped ISIS out for the most part, has North Korea talking to South Korea for the first time in 65 years.

I can only assume that Joe would prefer things to have things the way they were during the era of Barry ‘O’.  You know, back when we had the lowest labor participation rate since the 1970s, or 95 million people out of work, or 13 million more on food stamps, 8 million more in poverty, the lowest home ownership since the 1950s.  Back when business was strangled by thousands of new regulations. Our national debt DOUBLED in eight years, billions of dollars wasted on useless projects.  We had increased racial and party animus, eroding our national unity.

And that wonderful time in American history when we had a socialized health care scheme essentially shoved own our throat, causing millions of families to lose the doctors and plans they favored, and that forced costs to skyrocket while coverage decreased. ISIS terrorized and massacred thousands of innocents, Iran was given billions of dollars and a pathway to nuclear weapons. North Korea launched missiles every which way from Sunday, threatening us and their neighbors. Barry ‘O’ gave us sweet WORDS but his eight years in office were a freaking TRAINWRECK.

The ‘fake news’ media has now become the enemy of the American people! They are actively trying to bring down our government.  Whether we’re talking about the Democrat Party, Hollyweird, the ‘fake news’ media or social media, like Facebook or Twitter, or the thousands of unelected progressive bureaucrats, all are part of the “Ministry of Propaganda” whose goal is the destruction of America! They use lies, false charges, character assassination, radical judges, and violence of every kind in their continuing effort to subvert our laws and silence patriots!

Liberal elites like Joe view working-class Americans as deplorables, those stupid folks in fly-over country who think that they actually ‘deserve’ a job.  We’re backwards hillbillies who cling to our guns and our religion or Neanderthals who literally stink up the air with our support for President Donald Trump.  President Trump didn’t create these people.  It was after the Democrats had kicked them to the curb, that candidate Trump picked them up, and listened to them.  They weren’t looking for much, just someone to tell them that their lives and their livelihoods mattered.

In the big political scheme of things the Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for the rise of Trump.  They are who is most responsible for Trump being in office just as they were responsible for Ronald Reagan being elected. If you ignore your voters for long enough, eventually they’ll simply go elsewhere.  So I don’t really know, exactly, what point Joe is trying to make.  But speaking for myself, I am someone who, while I was slow in deciding whether or not to get onboard the ‘Trump Train’, I did vote for him and thus far am very glad that I did.

The answer to that, according to those in the media, is whenever the so-called ‘informant’ is involved in ‘spying’ on the campaign of a Republican candidate.  Because whenever an ‘informant’ is found anywhere near a Democrat candidate’s campaign they are always called a ‘spy.’   So if you’re all a bit confused when it comes to the ongoing investigation in Russia’s impact on our 2016 election, and the role that the Trump campaign, the intelligence community, and Hitlery’s campaign may have had in what was happening, don’t worry you’ve got lots of company.

And the reason for so much confusion regarding this entire informant/spy issue has to do with the fact that our state-controlled media has done a rather amazing job blaming President Trump for muddying the waters, when in fact it’s actually been those involved with the media itself that have been attempting, and succeeding, to confuse everyone.  For example, it was two of this nation’s more prominent propaganda machines, the Washington Post and the New York Times, that originally broke the stories that revealed that there was a ‘spy’ in the Trump campaign.

However, It was just a few day lather that if you were to read either of these same rags you would have been told that President Trump is lying and that there never was a ‘spy’ in the campaign!  Instead, what there was… was a “confidential informant.”   See, there was this guy who was gathering information on the campaign and the people in the campaign, then surreptitiously handing all of that information over to the FBI who were secretly investigating that campaign.  Now, sure, most of us would call this spying… but those in the media tell us that it’s not really spying.

So this is how low those in the state-controlled media have now sunk and it’s the folks there at the Communist News Network, aka (CNN),that would like us all to know that the President is a liar for saying that the government was spying on his campaign… even though the government was spying on his campaign.   First there was that moron, Don Lemon, explaining why there was no spy, even though there was, and then that bigger moron, Jake Tapper, calling the President a liar, even though he’s not lying about this.  And yet these boobs call themselves journalist?

Thankfully, there are still some pundits out there willing to be intellectually honest. Mollie Hemingway recently appeared on Fox News where she went toe-to-toe with a Washington Post reporter who had the devil of a time explaining why her paper would reveal the fact that there was a spy in the campaign, before then arguing that there was no spy.  Hemingway blasted the media, the intelligence community , and even RINO Senator Marco Rubio while explaining the hypocrisy that was self-evident in the ongoing Russia investigation and the coverage surrounding it.

Hemingway said, “Maybe Republican vs. Democrat isn’t the best way to view this, so much as the establishment vs. outsider. And Marco Rubio apparently is unaware that the FBI opened an investigation into the Trump campaign, he says there is no investigation into the Trump campaign — that is not a secret. They opened an investigation during the campaign, and what we have learned in the last week from reporting in the Washington Post and New York Times is that this investigation involved far more surveillance than we ever had any idea about.”

And she went on to say, “ It wasn’t just a wiretap against a campaign aide that was able to wear a wiretap… it was also national security letters, which are secret subpoenas, and we know of at least one informant, someone secretly gathering information on the Trump campaign. We are supposedly not allowed to call that a spy, but in the normal world people call that spying, but whatever it is, it is unprecedented, and the lack of journalistic curiosity about what was going on, how this happened, and whether protocol was followed is frankly scandalous.”

Hemingway, of course, is 100% correct, and the media hacks at CNN and nearly everywhere else out there in the wild, wacky world of our state-controlled media complex, should be ashamed of the way they’ve ‘covered’ the ongoing investigation.  But they’re not.  Instead they all seem to be rather proud of the job they’re doing.  Hence we have one more example on what has become a very, very long list of many examples of why fewer and fewer Americans feel that they can trust those in the media to be telling the truth, and it’s even fewer that trust CNN.

When those in the media can no longer be trusted to tell the truth, what purpose is it that they serve?  Trust and credibility were once the watchwords of those in media.  But no more!  There no longer seems to be even the slightest interest by those who were once referred to as the watch dogs of our democracy to verify the ‘facts’ of a story.  So slowly, over time, people stop listening.  And it’s those in the media that are doing the people, as well as themselves, a grave disservice, because there will come a time when the people should have been listening, but weren’t.

media 27

Recently those wonderful folks who comprise what I like to refer to as being our state-controlled media got what, I can only assume, was some pretty bad news.  It was news that made pretty clear how all of their hard work over the course of the last couple of years has essentially been all for naught.  You see, it’s according to the Real Clear Politics ‘poll of polls’ that President Trump’s average job approval rating sits at a relatively healthy 42.9 percent, a high he has not reached in nearly a year.  The last time the president eked into the 43 percent range was early May 2017.

So what we have here is yet another bit of proof that the media is no longer able to sway public opinion or move the needle.  While Trump’s job approval sits at 43 percent, trust in the media sits at just 41 percent.  But even that 41 percent is skewed. It’s only Democrats who support the media at a respectable level of 62 percent.  But, of course, they do. Now that the media is 24/7/365 anti-Trump and keep the left on the hook waiting for the smoking gun of impeachment (that will never come), why wouldn’t Democrats trust in the media to pull off a coup.

Meanwhile, it’s only 14 percent of Republicans that believe those in the media get the facts straight.  More telling still is the fact that only 37 percent of independents say the same.  In other words, outside of the far-left kooks, mainstream America no longer trusts what they hear, read, or see from those in the media, and why would they?  The media of the last decade, maybe longer, has become little more than a ‘fake news’ factory that for nearly two solid years has told us lie after lie about Trump’s colluding with Russia, and now, we have learned that was a big, fat hoax.

Credit for his improving numbers also goes to President Trump himself as he has not allowed the media plot to undo his election to distract him.  From the economy to North Korea to Syria to trade to immigration and taxes, the president has managed to keep his eye on the ball, and concrete things are happening.  Real things are getting done.  Bottom line: what Americans want more than anything are peace and prosperity, and after eight years of the Bush wars and eight years of Barry’s hideous handling of the economy, Trump’s presidency so far epitomizes peace and prosperity.

And in the end, that’s what voters will judge Trump on. They can see through the smoke of the endless stream of media lies and mischaracterizations as well as all of the pundit hysteria, and they are starting to understand that “sources tell us” is really nothing more than Greek for “this is fake news.”  It has been time after time that those in the media have continued to demonstrate how it is that they are increasingly desperate in their attempt to take down our president any way they can.  There is not one issue today that the media has any measurable level of credibility.

Personally, I happen to be of the opinion that President Trump’s approval is likely much higher.  The notion you can somehow average erroneous polls together and get an accurate and valid outcome doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me.  I’m not saying these loony “poll of polls” should be stopped. I want the Democrats to live by them, completely deluded into thinking Trump isn’t popular.  WE on the other hand should ignore polls and follow Trump’s leadership.  Trump thinks ahead for the long term.  Everything he says is for a reason, and we need to tune into that.

The Leftist buffoons in the media either don’t understand, or they refuse to accept, the REAL American culture.  Historically, we have ALWAYS sided with the underdog. When the left vilified Trump, slammed him every day, committed blatantly ILLEGAL transgressions against our civil rights and the Constitution in order to “get” him, they accomplished little more than to create a hero, of sorts.  We understand it is not so much TRUMP they hate but those of us who voted for him and support him, despite their foul attempts at slander and sedition. And trust me, there WILL BE a reckoning.

Look at the mess Barry ‘O’ left us. What was once a relatively peaceful Middle East is now an inferno.  Our national debt was doubled on Barry’s “watch.”  Our national credit rating was downgraded for the first time in our history.  And the list of Barry’s “accomplishments” is nearly endless.  If he wasn’t given a pass because he was the first ‘black’ president, he would already be relegated to the ash heap of history, but the progressives won’t open their eyes and look objectively at the facts. The results of the Barry ‘O’s presidency makes the Jimmy Carter years almost look good.

Liberalism is becoming a coastal party with but a few enclaves in between, primarily our larger cities.  Democrats only push identity politics and most people have become sick of hearing how everyone is a homophobe, xenophobe, sexist, racist, etc.  There is no clear message the Democrats have other than to hate Trump and to resist.  What are they doing for people of color?  What are they doing for the economy?  They want to completely gut the First and Second amendments because they are losing the information war as more and more realize how those in the media lie.

Yes, the media loved how our historic ‘first black president’, Barry, lived to denigrate America on foreign soil in front of foreign audiences, bowing deeply in subservience to foreign despots, generally blaming America for all the problems of the world and apologizing for our pride in our exceptionalism.  Yes and they loved him for fanning what had been the dying embers of racism into what would become a roaring blaze that we haven’t seen in decades.  The only ‘fight’ Barry ever engaged in was making America look bad and keeping all his background hidden and sealed.

Apparently there is a level to which some people will gladly stoop in their effort to garner for themselves that ever-elusive ‘15 minutes of fame.’  I’m sure that by now most have heard of David Hogg, the 17-year-old Florida school shooting witness and now enthusiastic anti-gun crusader, who in trying to take full advantage of his new found ‘fame’ made the rounds to many of the Sunday ‘news’ shows.  And in so doing Hogg revealed a demeanor that was equal parts deer-in-the-headlights mixed with the Damien character from the movie, ‘The Omen’.  It was a rather strange spectacle of a mean-spirited little zealot in over his head spewing all manner of conspiratorial gibberish as unnerved adults responded with tight smiles and patronizing nods.

More than a week after the Parkland school shooting massacre, with the raw emotion of 17 dead innocents subsiding, the ginned up state-controlled media hysteria having pretty much run its course, and the public waking up to the fact that, outside of the killer himself, it’s the government that is very much to blame for the fact that this massacre was ALLOWED to take place.  Both the FBI and the Broward County Sheriff’s office, headed up by a man who has to be one of the most incompetent individuals to ever head up a law enforcement department, have much to answer for.  Not an NRA which five years ago called for additional school security and a tightening of the very background checks that might have kept a firearm out of this killer’s hands.

Up until Sunday, this kid, Hogg, had served almost perfectly as the media’s avatar of hate towards the NRA, the Second Amendment, as well as gun owners everywhere.  But that was while he was surfing a sizable wave of emotion.  Now that he needs to actually say something substantive, something beyond I’M OUTRAGED he’s come to appear as little more than delusional.  Sure, Hogg is still a mean little brat, a bully drunk on his own unearned power, but now that the wave has crested, Hogg had to switch gears.  Give him (or his handlers) credit for understanding that.  Nevertheless, Hogg’s masterplan is to, get this, drive a wedge between the NRA and NRA members using wild-eyed conspiracy theories spiked with venom against Dana Loesch.

While appearing on the Clown News Network (CNN) Hogg’s bitter immaturity and belief in childish things made him look equal parts mean, helpless, manipulated, and ridiculous.  The only thing Hogg appears to have learned from the silly conspiracy theories surrounding him is how to spread his own.  First he gave Loesch a promotion from mere spokesperson of the NRA to CEO.  Then he revealed that Loesch is a super-secret lobbyist for gun manufacturers.  Then no, it’s gets worse.  Loesch is an arms dealer who actually sells guns.  But Hogg saved his most frightening revelation for last.  Apparently, Loesch is the leader of some sinister organization, a bloodthirsty villainess who’s comfortable in the knowledge that she owns Congress and politicians.

And in responding to what was Hogg’s sizable avalanche of ‘fake news’, all the host of the laughably-titled ‘Reliable Sources’ could do was ask in awe, “Where does the information come from when you talk about this?”  Hogg quickly put the question to rest with this bit of precision craftsmanship saying, “My previous research in speech and debate through learning about universal background checks, having to argue on both sides.”  And it was then that Hogg revealed that he sees a future for himself in both media and politics.  Are we witnessing a young ‘Jake Tapper’ in the making, attempting to make a career for himself on the dead bodies of his classmates?  Perhaps it’s time for the young Mr. Hogg to undergo a psych evaluation of his own.

And then during Monday’s bizarre episode of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” that this little twerp declared that it’s Gov. Rick Scott who should be seen as being responsible for the Broward County Sheriff Department’s actions, or inaction, leading up to and during the Parkland school shooting.  Hogg said, “I’m glad you bring that up. It is raising concern the fact they didn’t go up, but that brings up two things. One, how can we expect our teachers to step in and take action if trained security guards part of the sheriff’s department wouldn’t take action. And two, why are these elected officials trying to blame this on the bureaucracy. They’re in charge of them. This is their fault. They should have been regulating them.”

He said, “I’m not going to allow them to pressure these people because at the end of the day it’s their fault. These elected officials are the boss of these sheriff personnel and just like the president is the boss of the FBI, Governor Rick Scott is essentially the boss of Scott Israel the sheriff, and as such he should be held accountable and can’t blame this on the bureaucracy and expect to get reelected.”  He added, “I want to point something out, that football coach was a security guard and he was protecting those students. He is one of the people that stepped in, unlike those cowardly Broward County Sheriff’s officials. Honestly, I fully support law enforcement and we always should. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to speak here today.”

And he concluded by saying, “We wouldn’t have a functioning democracy where everybody can practice their First Amendment right to freedom of speech. Sadly, these are a few individuals did not conduct their job correctly but I don’t think it’s right that Governor Rick Scott is blaming this on the bureaucracy in an effort to get reelected.”  What this imbecile chooses to ignore is the fact that Rick Scott is NOT “essentially the boss of Scott Israel the sheriff.”  Also Hogg’s eagerness to accuse those of blaming “the bureaucracy in an effort to get reelected” might have something to do with the fact that his father, Kevin Hogg, happens to be a retired FBI agent.  Thus it was dear old dad who was a member of this very same bureaucracy.

And then it was also on Monday that Hogg took time out to attack President Trump for allegedly evading the draft during the Vietnam War in the 1960s.  Hogg wrote, “Calling the sheriff a coward is so ironic coming from a man who evaded the draft multiple times due to his power and influence. @realDonaldTrump you’re a hypocrite that is owned by the NRA please prove me wrong.”  Trump has criticized as a coward the Broward County Sheriff’s deputy who served as the resource officer at the school, for hiding outside from the gunman rather than entering the school building and confronting him with deadly force during the February 14 attack by a former student that killed 17 students and faculty.  An accusation that I thought was justified.

After having watched those on the left continue to fall all over this kid I can’t help but wonder how long it might be before we see out on the campaign trail with the likes of ‘Mad Maxine’ Waters or any number other hardcore leftwing anti-gun Democrats up for re-election this year.  And as much as I hate to be the one to bust this kid’s balloon, it was Obummer’s policies that lead to this shooter NOT being arrested for a felony when he shot his neighbor’s animals.  Not to mention the other 38 times that the police were called to his home.  And it was the dynamic duo of Obummer/Holder who went after those schools that suspended children and who didn’t want to see them arrested.  That’s where he should focus his ‘anger.’

And for those who may think I’m coming down too hard on this kid, all I have to say is when you venture out into the media and start throwing around loaded terms, as this kid has done, you become fair game for criticism.  Not all of that criticism might be “fair” but that’s how life is.  He’s exploiting memes and really he’s just being a dumb kid who’s getting caught up in the media exposure.  And what he’s spewing is really nothing more than nonsensical garbage and pure propaganda.  He knows virtually nothing about the topic at hand.  Being a survivor of such an event does not qualify one as being any sort of an expert on public policy. If anything it makes one less reliable because one cannot detach the emotion(s) of the event from the discussion.

One of the biggest disappointments of this entire election season, although something not totally unexpected, was how we were made to witness that which can only be described as the complete unraveling and final demise of what was once referred to as being our mainstream media.  As the days pass and the smoke continues to clear a bit after the shocking events of November 8th, it’s difficult to come to grips with the magnitude of their collapse. While it’s true that their demise has been many years in the making, it doesn’t make what we just witnessed any less stunning.

Some in the ‘press’, those who have managed to get beyond their grief, have shown a bit of introspection, after they came to the realization that their political campaign was over and they had lost.  But sadly, the soul-searching itself is just part of the script.  The “we live in a liberal bubble” explanation worked for a while, but it is wholly inadequate to explain 2016.  And while I hesitate to say it, because they still do wield a certain amount of power, it is for all intents and purposes, that which we once called the mainstream media can now be declared, and officially so, quite dead.

And I guess ‘if’ there is anything that can be described as being sad about what it that has occurred here, as it relates to media, it’s that they were essentially killed by their own hand.  In other words, they are dead because they can no longer be trusted when it comes to anything they say.  In 2016, we discovered, and beyond the shadow of any doubt, that those in the mainstream media will not hesitate in the least when it comes to colluding with the Democrat Party in an effort to advance the careers of liberal politicians.  And we now know that they colluded to elect Hitlery.

And this goes far beyond merely siding with liberal policies or demanding in your official ‘media manual’ that pro-lifers be called “anti-abortion.”  That’s plain old liberal bias, and we’re all accustomed to dealing with it.  However, this goes well beyond that.  The “liberal bubble” was Bernard Goldberg’s thesis in his best-selling book Bias, and it made a lot of sense then.  But it turns out, that explanation falls way short.  But while the bubble is real, and it helps explain many aspects of what ails newsrooms all over the country, it nowhere near tells the whole story.

The mainstream media, aka the state-controlled media, provided both cover for and ammunition to the Democrat Party, while hiding behind the misappropriated title of “journalists.”  And they were very open about it, acting as if they no longer cared whether we recognized their biases or not.  But you can’t call yourself “the press” when you give the questions for a presidential debate to one of the candidates.  And you can’t pretend impartiality when you are coordinating with the Democrat National Committee on the questions you need to ask of their opponents.

Today’s press ignores or holds on to information and chooses to release it when it feels that the time is right for maximum political impact.  And the after-election freakout continues in much the same way.  The Clinton News Network’s (CNN) coverage of the anti-Trump protests included a protestor using the “Hillary got more votes” talking point of the left that got a lot of play on social media.  And while the claim is true, there’s never any mention that all of those votes came from California.  Remove that state from the equation and the vote totals are very different.

We need to accept the fact that those in the media are not going to change.  You can forget about that.  Because nothing has really changed.  The same Democrat operatives who worked the newsrooms before the election, continue their work today.  They’ll just have to try harder next time, be subtler or simply work harder at not getting caught.  After all they did almost win.  We just have to adapt to this new “pressless” world.  Sure, there are some good reporters who try to do a good job, but it’s so hard to decipher it all. It’s fair to say most people will not go to the trouble.

Let’s face it, the media is dead.  And it’ll take a miracle to resurrect it.  And it was in a year known mostly for mayhem, misfortune, and madness, that America’s media quickly proved themselves to be unfit for narrating this first draft of history. All too often, when the news got tough, the news got weird.  And while picking 10 of the most egregious examples was no easy task, we’ve whittled thousands of examples down to the ten examples that we think represent 2016 in a nutshell. So without further ado, here are the media’s 10 most mortifying moments of 2016:

  1. After Donald Trump’s underdog victory, many in the media looked for scapegoats. But Comedy Central’s Samantha Bee went the furthest — blaming white people for “ruining” America.
  2. Hitlery notoriously avoided direct questions from the press all year. So when Lester Holt became one of the few to somehow score a sit down with her, his softballs-only interview was journalistically humiliating.
  3. Cuba’s longtime dictator expired this year, and many in America’s media actually mourned.
  4. And perhaps while not historically significant, a particularly comical case of media malpractice came when an enchanted Andrea Mitchell breathlessly recapped the “magical” evening she was having at a Hitlery rally.
  5. Over on taxpayer funded PBS, David Brooks and David Corn somehow connected the dots between Ted Cruz and Satan. Go figure!
  6. After the devastating mass slaughter in Orlando, the media embraced its unfortunate habit of speculating where things went wrong — looking everywhere, it seemed, besides Islamic terrorism.
  7. After another tragedy — this time an alligator snatching a toddler from a Disney World beachfront — CNN’s Brooke Baldwin thankfully had the presence of mind to ask a local animal expert … what the alligator was thinking.
  8. On MSNBC, the now-canceled Melissa Harris Perry worried that Flint, Mich., might become Barry “Almighty’s”… Fugitive Slave Act?
  9. After Orlando, many progressive congressmen staged a sit-in on the floor of the House of Representatives. The media, you be unsurprised to discover, went absolutely bananas with delight.
  10. If there was one thing the media was absolutely sure of in 2016, it was … Hitlery’s inevitable landslide victory. Whoops.

I think we can all agree that the ‘media’ is composed of little more than Snowflakes who believe themselves to be ‘journalists’.  They are entitled people motivated by a sense of superiority and condescension.  They were brainwashed in their colleges to think ‘progressively”, meaning, they believe whatever the professors say.  They see themselves as being born to inform and guide the masses.  And while they honestly hate ‘hate’, they are, at the same time, free to hate, because hate is deserved.  The best you can do with this people is to ignore them, or simply make fun of them.

The corrupt ‘Left’ as well as well as those in the state-controlled media remain in full denial when it comes to this election. They still can’t believe Americans didn’t want a crooked, criminal leftwing nut of a “woman” to be their President. And so it goes. The real story about this election is that people feared that Hitlery would continue with the highly destructive socialist policies of Barry.  That’s why the Democrats lost. You can say anything you like about Trump, but he is far superior to this corrupt, old school politician. It’s always good for the country when crooked loses.

So the mainstreamers will now have a choice to make, either do the job a journalist is supposed, and expected, to do, that being, tell the truth and let others decide on their own or continue to toe the Democrat Party line or, continue to lie, cheat, and obscure the real truth.  The media has a responsibility to the people and to the Republic and if they continue to ignore that responsibility, they willingly forfeit any credibility they desire in return.  And if what we have seen taking place since the election, it would appear that the choice has already been made.

Eventually they will go out of business. I never watch CNN and rarely even watch Fox. Eventually people will simply stop watching and whoever is funding them will tire of burning up money. What I worry more about, and this includes newspapers as well, is who is doing the real, and still very much needed, investigative reporting?  Wikileaks helped expose Hitlery, the media bias, Clinton money laundering, etc.  But hacking private emails is not hardnosed journalism. We badly need real investigating and reporting to keep politicians honest. We have lost that and we need it back, soon.

There should be very little doubt that over the course of the last eight years that which was once referred to as our ‘mainstream’ media has now morphed our ‘state-controlled’ media.  And as such they proven itself to be no longer relevant as they threw everything they had at Trump, and yet he still won.  And we know that because of a study released Wednesday by the Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy, that makes clear the fact that media coverage of Donald Trump was 77 percent negative during the general election.  And like I said, he still won the election.

Trump stated the obvious during the campaign when he said the media was biased against him in favor of Hitlery.  This study found that while Hitlery also received more negative coverage than positive, it was only 64 percent negative in the general election.  Although, I don’t recall seeing that much in the way of negative press directed at her, and what negative press there was it dramatically less incendiary than what was being directed at Trump 24/7.  When it came to questions of the candidates’ fitness for office, we were told that Hitlery and Trump each had equally high negative numbers, coming in at 87 percent.

The study’s author, Thomas Patterson, wrote, “Were the allegations surrounding Clinton of the same order of magnitude as those surrounding Trump?”  Mr. Patterson is a Bradlee professor of Government and the Press at the Harvard Kennedy School.  And he went on to write, “It’s a question that political reporters made no serious effort to answer during the 2016 campaign.”  Prof. Patterson also wrote, “A healthy dose of negativity is unquestionably a good thing.”  And added, “Yet an incessant stream of criticism has a corrosive effect. It needlessly erodes trust in political leaders and institutions and undermines confidence in government and policy.”

Still, The Washington Post announced back in early May how it was assigning 20 reporters specifically to look into Trump’s past. The Post’s Bob Woodward said at the time it also was working to get to the “essence” of Hitlery, but wouldn’t say whether the paper had assigned 20 reporters to go digging around in her past.  Negative presidential campaign coverage is not new, especially when it comes to those running under the Republican banner. Negative stories have outweighed positive ones for all candidates since 1980, according to this study.  It peaked in the contentious 2000 Bush-Gore election at 75 percent for both candidates combined.

According to this particular study, we’re told that Hitlery actually received more negative coverage than Trump when the two parties’ primary campaign seasons were included in the figures.  We’re told that Hitlery received 62 percent negative coverage to Trump’s 56 percent.  Hitlery faced attacks from rival Bernie Sanders and his supporters in the primaries, but Trump also was attacked by some of his 16 GOP primary opponents.  But I find it rather hard to believe that over the course of the entire campaign Hitlery received more negative media attention, both in volume and intensity, than did President-elect Trump.

The negative press coverage isn’t limited to political races, at least according to this study.  Negative stories also are far more common than positive ones on topics such as immigration, Muslims, health policy and even the economy.  And where I disagree with Prof. Patterson is when he says, “The real bias of the press is not that it’s liberal. Its bias is a decided preference for the negative.”  Because there is most definitely a very obvious liberal bias when it comes to how members of the press choose to report on our political parties.  A bias that results in a willingness on their part to exaggerate, distort, or blatantly lie about positions held by candidates on the right.

While this particular study focused on news reports by ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, the Los Angeles Times, NBC, The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post, the number of left leaning media outlets is near to limitless.  In there was even a fair amount of negative reporting that was seen coming from Fox News, supposedly a right leaning news organization, on the candidacy of the candidate Trump.  And it was even on Fox News that, except for Sean Hannity, coverage on the candidates came across as being pretty obviously pro-Hitlery.  To the point where I went from being a pretty regular viewer, to rarely watching at all.

The real problem however is not the liberal media’s goal to bring up negativity.  The real problem is that “reporters” and “editors” are taught in “journalism school” that socialism is the perfect form of government and that the phrase “all men are created equal” means everyone, regardless of ability, status, position, creed, ethnicity, or sexual orientation, are to be considered equal at all levels and ages.  The true meaning behind the phrase “all men are created equal” was to point out that all men are born with equal opportunity to succeed or fail on their own merits.  The fact that some make better decisions than others in life is the problem that liberals have.

And those in our ‘state-controlled’ media frequently confuse the words “truth” and “fact”.  They seem to think they’re interchangeable, and when all else fails, it’s acceptable to simply make shit up.  They are taught, indoctrinated if you will, that God doesn’t exist so therefore the government becomes God.  And once one can be made to accept that cockamamie premise, it becomes all the easier to be convinced that one’s individual rights do not come from God but are instead allocated by the government.  And what the government giveth, the government can also taketh away.  Hence that rationale for cutting God out of the loop.

Far too many members of the media are thoroughly convinced that they are the smartest people to ever have existed, they fully believe they need only to listen to themselves on all matters, and anyone who contradicts them is obviously wrong, regardless of what the facts, the truth, or simple the reality of the situation may say.  History means absolutely nothing to them (even when they have degrees in it) because history is populated with people of inferior intellects.  From this viewpoint, there’s no reason to learn from the past; what could these brilliant and enlightened folks possibly learn from all the backwards idiots who may have come before them?

Leftist hubris will come to destroy Western civilization if we don’t find a way to bury it.  Leftists have turned our education system into indoctrination camps, our ‘news’ media into what has become essentially the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party, and our entertainment industry has become a sort of brain-killing drug for the masses instead of a thought-provoking expression of diverse ideas.  The end result is that we’re confronted by imbeciles experiencing rather bizarre little meltdowns because they can’t handle someone saying something they don’t like or someone like that moron Sally Kohn declaring that Sharia law is totally compatible with liberal “ideals.”

Personally, it’s to my way of thinking that from this point on the ONLY thing that’s going to prevent Donald Trump from becoming a successful president is not the negative press that he’s surely going to receive.  It will be Donald Trump himself.  He made a great many promises throughout the campaign, some of which he already appears to be going soft on.  And frankly I’m getting a little concerned.  I was a reluctant passenger on the Trump train, but it was my fear of Hitlery as president that encouraged me to step off the platform and get onboard.  But I have always had an uneasy feeling when it came to actually trusting him to follow through.

And with Trump also having meetings with such questionable characters as Al Gore, Rahm Emanuel, Bill De Blasio and even Lenny DiCaprio, as well as some of his more recent comments on immigration, I must admit that I’m beginning to question his commitment to follow through on many of the promises he made, especially as they relate to the issues such as ‘illegal immigration’, sanctuary cities and so-called “climate change.”  Expectations are very high for Mr. Trump, if for no other reason than because of the many promises he himself has made.  We are in a very dangerous place in our history. Hopefully, he can turn this ship around.

Here in the real world I think we can all agree that Dan Blather, to put it politely, little more than a fraud.  But to merely call him a fraud is, probably, a bit of an understatement, because what he is, is a “disgraced news fabricator.”  In the alternate universe inhabited by those on the Left, however, Blather is seen as “legendary,” a “respected news icon.” And in what is being hailed by the delusional Left as an epic takedown of Donald Trump, Blather shared a few words of “wisdom” on Facebook. His screed is confined mainly to how the honorable media, in the trenches daily, faces abuse at the hands of the Republican nominee.

As you can imagine, it’s wrought with typical liberal revisionism and self-aggrandizement.  Says Mr. Blather:

“I felt a shudder down my spine yesterday watching Donald Trump’s fusillade against the press. This is not a moment to be trifled with. It wasn’t his first tirade and it won’t be his last….

This is a dirty, nasty election. And it is only going to get worse. The reporters in the trenches need no lecture from me. They are walking through daily minefields, bracing themselves against winds of discontent whose effects no one can predict.

I know what it is like to sit in those seats and feel the scorn and even wrath of politicians of all political persuasions. Attacking the press for unfair coverage has long been a bipartisan pursuit. Sometimes it works. I am happy to say that more often it doesn’t. But Trump’s brand of vituperation is particularly personal and vicious. It carries with it the drumbeats of threatening violence. It cannot be left unanswered.

Good journalism–the kind that matters–requires reporters who won’t back up, back down, back away or turn around when faced with efforts to intimidate them. It also requires owners and other bosses with guts, who stand by and for their reporters when the heat is on.

I still believe the pen is mightier than the sword. And in these conflicted and troubled times, we should reward the bravery of the men and women not afraid to ask the hard questions of everyone in power. Our nation’s future depends on it.”

“Bravery?” So is that what media-bias and bald-faced lies are being called these days?  And is there no limit to Leftist derangement?  Apparently not.  In fairness though, Blather is nothing if not quite the melodramatic story-teller. Perhaps his skills are better suited for the theater.  Rather speaks of “reporters in the trenches.”  That’s the problem, Mr. Blather, there are no reporters in the trenches reporting on the real stories instead, they’re in the pocket of the DNC.  The fact is, good journalism left the planet decades ago.  At the same time they became satisfied to serve as useful idiots for the Democrat Party. Journalism is getting exactly what it deserves.

When they decided to elect a president, a man who had never even held any kind of a real job, and intentionally avoided even the slightest attempt at vetting the candidate (because of his race), it was a signal that journalism was officially dead in this country and can never again be trusted to tell the truth.   Poll after poll continues to point out just how little trust the American people have in a press, the purpose of which was to be the watchdog over their government.  But far from being a watchdog, today’s press amounts to being little more than the lapdog of the left.  A purpose at which they not only excel, but very much seem to relish!

Let’s face it, those involved in our state-controlled media have, over the years, had a lot of practice getting the non-vetted elected. Had all of the slime that was available on ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton ever been made public, there would never have been the first Clinton presidency, let alone the fact that we must now worry about there being a second. Both ‘Slick’ and his wife would have long ago been the recipients of the disdain they so richly deserve.  And it’s more than likely that at least one of them would have ended up in federal prison and would still be there.  But sadly, that would require those in the media to actually do their job, which they are not prone to do.

Look, I continue to have some pretty serious reservations about Trump, but at the same time I must admit that I am thoroughly enjoying watching him give our so-called mainstream media all they can handle, and then some! After the nearly cultish way they have hung on Barry “Almighty’s” every word (regardless of truth), I would argue that they are deserving of everything Trump throws at them.  Blather continues to be the symbol of what many in our media have become.  They are less journalist then they are advocates.  They care not about the country, only the next headline.  And it matters not if there is any truth to the headline, only that it gets the ‘right’ kind of attention.

Hitlery 149

I suppose one could argue that those upon whom we depend for our news and information have, for decades, been not so gradually sliding further and further to the left after having started from a point that was already well left of center.  And I think it’s fair to say that those who are today’s members of the press, instead of seeing themselves as being the people’s watch dog over their government, see themselves as being nothing more than an extension, of sorts, of the Democrat Party.  They have now chosen sides and it’s the people who come out as being the biggest losers.  But that seems to be of little consequence to those who remain quite contact in their role as lapdog to the left in this country.

So it came as little surprise when on Tuesday of this week, on what has once again become the Clinton News Network, in much the same way it was back in the 90s, it was CNN’s “The Lead” host, Jake Tapper, who called presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump “shameful” for saying that the circumstances surrounding the death of former ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton aide Vince Foster were ”very fishy.”  Tapper is another one of those who routinely practice that which is nothing more than the sort of journalistic malpractice that we have all come to expect from today’s state-controlled ‘news’ media.  And Tapper was quick, maybe a bit too quick, to come rushing to Hitlery’s defense.

Tapper said, “Once again, journalists are in the unhappy predicament of trying to decide whether and how to cover false allegations raised by a candidate for president of the United States. A candidate for the president of—in the midst of the attacks of scandals and accusations from 1990s, Mr. Trump has repeated an outrageous and long-ago debunked falsehood about Vince Foster, a friend of Bill and Hillary Clinton’s until his tragic suicide in July 1993. Foster, who suffered from depression, walked into the park with an old revolver and shot himself in the mouth. The park service police concluded that year that Foster committed suicide.”  So the brilliant forensic investigators of the park service determined it was a suicide?

Jake went on to say, “But that did not stop conspiracy theorists at time from concocting unfounded allegations. Now that first investigation was followed by an investigation by CNN in 1994 concluding Foster’s death was due to suicide and alternative scenarios had no credibility.”  And Jake added, “Other investigations reached the same conclusion, one by independent counsel Robert Fiske in 1994, two by congressional reviews, another by independent council Ken Starr in 1997. One would think case closed, right? Wrong.”  But I would ask the enterprising Mr. Tapper is a murder case, or even a potential murder case, ever closed?  And why is it that Trump’s allegations are considered as being false?  Because we’re talking about a Clinton?

Jake said, “Donald Trump, in an interview appearing in “The Washington Post,” called circumstances surrounding the death very fishy and said, ‘I don’t bring Foster’s death up because I don’t know enough to discuss it, I will say there are people who continue to bring it up because they think it was absolutely a murder. I don’t do that because I don’t think it’s fair.’ Right. Except, of course, you just did that, Mr. Trump. You lend credence to a bizarre and unfounded conspiracy theory. You’re right, it’s not fair you did that, certainly not to Mr. Foster’s widow or their three children. The notion that this was a murder is a fiction borne of delusion and untethered to reality and contradicted by evidence reviewed in six investigations.”

And Jake went on to say, “One of them by Ken Starr, hardly a Bill Clinton defender. So to say otherwise is ridiculous and, frankly, shameful. Again, this is not a pro-Clinton position or an anti-Trump position. It is a pro-truth position.”  So apparently Jake didn’t take too kindly to Trump’s raising some rather interesting questions.  In fact, he seemed almost offended at even having to report on it.  But I wonder, if it was Hitlery bringing up such matters regarding Trump would Jake have felt the same way?  Somehow I very much doubt it.  Jake is nothing more than one more drivers of one of the many wagons that have now been circled around Hitlery in an effort to fend off any and all attacks at least until after the election.

Vince Foster, for those of you who may not remember, was Deputy White House Counsel and the Clinton’s lawyer.  He was found dead in Fort Marcy Park on July 20, 1993. Three investigations into Foster’s death, including one by Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr, concluded that the death was an apparent suicide.  Critics of the investigations say Foster’s death does not fit the facts of a suicide and that there are still a lot of unanswered questions about his death, some of the activities at the White House after his body was found, and the investigations themselves.  Although there are numerous theories about what may have happened to Foster and why, none of them has yet to be proven conclusively.

So now, and in much the same way that none of Barry’s many questionable associations were worth reporting on back in 2008, nor again in 2012, any questions that may be brought up regarding Hitlery’s rather shady past should now simply be considered as having been put to rest.  Meanwhile, I suppose anything that can be dug up by the many ‘journalists’ that have now been set to work digging up anything they can find on Trump is to be considered as being fair game and would be something that Jake would be only too happy to report on.  Is it any wonder that we have poll after poll that point out just how little trust the American people have in people like Tapper?  How is it that he can even call himself a journalist?  He’s nothing but a joke!

Assholes 06

Look, I’ve got nothing personal against Mr. Milbank, although it was some time before I finally realized that Dana was actually a guy, I mean who names their son ‘Dana’, but I find his attempt to blame Flint’s water crisis on anyone other than those who truly deserve the blame to be rather disingenuous, and more than just a little dishonest.  You see, it’s according to Milbank that it’s all because of the conservative, and Founding Father-approved, ideal of limiting the power of the federal government that brought the Flint water crisis about in the first place.

‘Dana’, who is one of those unbiased lefty ‘journalists’ who very enthusiastically supports a big and even bigger government, said, “It’s a vicious cycle.”  He then goes on to say, “Washington devolves power to the states. When states screw up, conservatives blame the federal government, worsening the public’s already shaky faith. Having tied the hands of the feds — in this case, the EPA — they use the failure as justification to restrict federal power further, thus giving more control to the states, which caused the problem in the first place.”

And then he goes on to say, and very confidently so, “This is no abstract problem.” What would a United States look like if there were no all-powerful Environmental Protection Agency? “It would look like Flint,” Milbank answers. And then in citing the Safe Drinking Water Act, this boob, Milbank, goes on to argue that the EPA “takes a back seat to state regulators” and thus couldn’t — by law — intervene. They knew about the lead-contaminated water for a year and did nothing. Milbank argues that it took that long to “meet the law’s requirements to take action.”

And although he admits that the EPA “should have acted faster,” Milbank believes the state of Michigan bears the brunt of the blame. That’s fine, but in doing so, Milbank must recognize the fact that Flint was led by Democrat Mayor Dayne Walling until losing re-election over the lead fiasco and was replaced by yet another Democrat, Karen Weaver. But he doesn’t, of course, preferring to blame conservative values for creating the problem:  No, this problem was created by a rigid adherence to the notion that states will police themselves and that the federal government should step aside.

Look, the bottom line here is that Milbank is nothing if not a complete ignoramus. There was NOTHING and NOBODY in the local government level having an affect on the water that is anything but the DEMOCRATS and their circle of cronies. Flint is also nothing more than yet another perfect example of what happens when only Democrats are left in charge. But, everybody automatically assumes that ANYWAY.  And if we truly want the rest of the country to look like Flint, or Detroit, or Chicago, or any other big city, then vote for Hitlery!

If you can’t blame the Jews, blame Conservatives.  As mentioned, it can’t be decades of Democrat control. Nope, it’s tight-fisted conservatism. Leftists, progressives, if you prefer, and truth are not synonymous. The former haven’t a firm grip on facts; the truth frightens them, putting them into a hissy-fit. In their askew logic, every malady afflicting this nation is caused by those of another political bent; needless to say, the right. It is easier to blame the other guy, this being Barry’s way, than to admit that progressives, the Democrats, et al, are not infallible, but heavily delusional.

Yep, if they get control of this nation in the coming election, it will sink like a stone in quicksand. Our Constitution will be declared as nothing more than a historical piece of paper of no true significance for today’s America. We can kiss our freedom of speech and or thought goodbye. This, needless to say, will only be the beginning, but the end will come soon enough; if the electorate hands the Democrats another tenure in the White House.  So, give yourself that warm and fuzzy feeling by voting for Hitlery if you choose, and then kiss your freedoms good bye!
