RINOS MUST BE MADE TO BECOME EXTINCT!!!

RINOs 05

As I have said before, it’s these days that I watch very little ‘Fox News’ but, having said that, I did recently catch wind of something that was said by one of the hosts of a new program on that network, one which I am very much in agreement with.  This new program is called “The Fox News Specialists”, and the host to whom I am referring is Eric Bolling.  And it was his statement calling out those who are opposing President Trump and his agenda that I very much agree with.  These individuals who like to refer to themselves as being ‘conservative’ but are, in realty, nothing of the sort.

Bolling pointed out how RINO Sen. Jeff Flake – who is up for reelection in 2018 – is now busy writing an anti-Trump book.  And he noted that Flake’s fellow RINO, Arizona senator John McCain, has also been very outspoken in his criticism of the president.  Bolling also pointed out how RINO Sen. Lindsay Graham is delivering his own brand of Russia-related “anti-Trump venom,” adding that Graham is up for reelection in 2020.  The focus of the 2018 election and every election thereafter must be to replace as many of these RINOs as possible with those who ‘are’ conservative.

Bolling said that attacking Trump might not be the best campaign strategy, because once you get out of the swamps of Washington, D.C. and New York City, you see that the American people love Trump.  Bolling said, “The DOW is 22,000, a record 153 million Americans are employed, Neil Gorsuch is on the high court and illegal immigration is falling like a rock.”  And added, “Tough to run against that.”  He said that “real conservatives” want the country to prosper, while many ‘Establishment Republicans’ egos are too bloated to admit the president is succeeding.

He suggested that the Republican Party might be better off without these “bad hombres,” and it might be time to “repeal and replace” them in Congress.  Bolling concluded, “Let’s make RINOs an endangered political species.”  And I could not agree more.  The focus, at least for those on the right, should be to act as that last line of defense between ‘The Establishment’, both right and left, as they do all that they can to prevent President Trump from doing those things that got him elected.  Our response MUST NOT be to elect more Democrats, but to elect MORE conservatives!

Sadly, our current batch of congressional Republicans are creating the impression that they have absolutely no idea how to govern.  And by doing so they are placing in jeopardy why we elected President Trump.  And it would seem that party unity is a concept that is completely foreign to them.  They are obsessed with getting favorable press, getting re-elected, enjoying their perks, and maintaining their ‘gentlemen’ status.  They pay more attention to RINO elites than they do to the people.  Republicans have apparently not gotten the message from the people who are really pissed off at Washington.

And let me make something very clear here, unless they make some rather significant changes in how they conduct the peoples’ business, I worry that this could very well be their last chance to govern for decades.  And while many Americans are saying that now may be the time for an Independent Party, one that is built on protecting the Constitution and providing for our national defense, I would argue that what we need to do instead is to use the leftists as our example and seize control the Republican Party in the same way that the left has now seized control of the Democrat Party.

Because even after the voters delivered the House in 2010 and 2012, the Senate 2014 and the White House in 2016, all of which the Republicans said they needed in order for them to make the changes demanded by the people, they have still refused to act.  Therefore the time has come for President Trump to begin to call these RINOs out by name.  He needs to go directly to the people and point out in very clear terms just how it is that these RINOs are now working arm in arm with the Democrats in the continuing attempt to prevent him from doing what we, the American people, elected him to do.

And the RINOs had better listen to the people or they will soon be made to become extinct.  With all things considered I feel that President Trump is doing a good job.  All Republicans in Congress have a choice to make, support the president or be replaced with someone who will.  Come 2018 we the voters must get rid of as many Democrats and RINOs as we can.  We must act on our disgust with Washington as we did when we picked as our leader a man from outside the beltway and tasked him with draining ‘The Swamp.’  He can’t be stopped if the American people are behind him.

Frankly at this point I’m not sure if there is anything I can say that would prevent what seems to be a growing number of my fellow conservatives from simply giving up on the Republican Party.  I would only ask that they reconsider and, if their district or state is currently sending a Democrat or RINO off to Washington, become a recruiter, or sorts, to convince potential conservative candidates to run against those currently in office.  We the People do still control our own fate, but if we are to have any chance of succeeding, we must get off the bench and onto the field.

Call me naïve, but we can’t afford to simply throw up our hands and complain about how many times we’ve been lied to by those who have told us that they believe as we do, only to find out later that they don’t.  What we must do is replace them with someone else, and if that proves too, to have been a mistake then we try again.  What we must NEVER do is surrender to those on the left, because that is exactly what they want us to do.  And who knows, in the end the left may still come to win but we must do all that we can to make them know that they have been in a fight!

WHEN REPUBLICANS CHOOSE TO ‘SELF-IDENTIFY’ AS DEMOCRATS…

RINOs 16

After years of promising us that they would bring an end to one of most horrendous pieces of legislation ever to be forced upon the American people, and one that was ‘passed’ in the dark of night and by using some of most devious political tactics imaginable, we’re now finding out that many of those promises were made with there being no intention of them being kept.  Now I suppose we should have known all along that they were never serious about repealing Obamacare, and maybe we bear some of the responsibility for this current debacle because we believed them.  But that does little to alter the fact that Obamacare has cause far more damage than any benefit that it may have provided.  And I realize that there are many who are ready to throw in the towel when it comes to voting for Republicans ever again.  I would only ask that they resist from throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

So we know that Mitch McConnell failed to garner the support needed to pass the motion to proceed on the watered-down version of the Obamacare repeal bill just after 1:30 a.m. Friday morning.  The attempt failed because three RINOs, John McCain, Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins, opted to identify as Democrats, joining with the other 48 Democrats in voting against the measure.  While the failure to get the necessary votes comes as yet another blow to McConnell, it once again demonstrates very clearly that he lacks any real leadership ability.  We’re told that he struggled for months to get members of his party to come to a consensus on replacement language.  But is that the action of a true leader?  And after months of negotiations, Republican lawmakers were unable to come to a consensus on key provisions, including how to handle cuts to Medicaid in expansion states and whether they should defund Planned Parenthood.

And what does it say about these three RINOs when you have someone like Chuckie Schumer heaping praise on them for their votes against the ‘skinny’ Obamacare repeal.  Chuckie said that he and McCain “have been friends for a very long time, ever since the Gang of Eight, which we put together. And I have not seen a senator who speaks truth to power as strongly, as well, and as frequently as John McCain. The very same courage he showed as a Naval Aviator in Vietnam, he showed last night, and has shown time and time again.”  He added, “And certainly not to be forgotten, of equal praise, are Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski. They were amazing. And, women are, in so many instances, stronger than men. They brag less about it, but they are. And last night sort of proved that. And as somebody who is in a family of strong women, I very much appreciate their strength, their courage, and their dedication to principle, despite the entreaties.”  Gag me with a spoon!

The so-called “skinny repeal”, which was aimed at repealing the aspects of Obamacare that all factions of the conference agreed upon while leaving large portions intact — was a last-ditch effort by leadership hoping to use the bill as a vehicle to conference with the lower chamber.  Despite McConnell having long been lauded as being some sort of a legislative wizard, his powers of persuasion fell far short with this trio of his fellow RINOs, all of whom have been quite vocal about their issues with the process and bill text.  And sadly we’re saddled with both Collins and Murkowski until 2020 upon which time we will hopefully be able to get rid of both of them, McCain we will likely be losing before the end of the year, which still provides him with more than enough time to wreak much more havoc in his effort to cause trouble for President Trump.  McCain is another one of those who would rather side with Democrats than see Trump achieve any level of success.

It became evident around midnight, as the vote continued to be delayed, that leadership was struggling to convince hesitant members to get onboard.  While an increasingly-frustrated looking McConnell and Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn, another RINO, huddled on the floor, Vice President Mike Pence partook in a lengthy discussion with McCain on the chamber floor in an attempt to coax the Arizona RINO to vote for the measure.  And while this may sound cold to some, hopefully at some point in the not too distant future the governor of Arizona will have the opportunity to appointment a replacement for McCain, one who will be more of a conservative and less of a RINO than McCain has been for some time now.  It’s too bad that such an opportunity had not yet presented itself.  McCain and his trusty sidekick from South Carolina, Lindsey Graham, have long been more of a roadblock to President Trump than they ever were for now ex-president Obummer.

Anyway, following its failure, McConnell expressed his disappointment on their failure to deliver on one of their top campaign promises.  Disappointment?  How does this vote in any way impact his ability to get quality and affordable health coverage?  In no way at all.  McConnell said, “From skyrocketing costs to plummeting choices and collapsing markets, our constituents have suffered through an awful lot under Obamacare. We thought they deserved better.”  And he went on to say, “It’s why I, and many of my colleagues, did as we promised and voted to repeal this failed law. We told our constituents we would vote that way. When the moment came, most of us did. We kept our commitments.”  ‘RINO’ McCain, who flew in from Arizona after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer earlier this week — told reporters, “I thought it was the right vote,” while exiting the Capitol.

And while I agree, to a certain extent, that electing Republicans to a majority in the House, then a majority in the Senate, and then the White House has not produced the outcome we had hoped for, I place a majority of the blame for this fiasco on RINOs like McCain who effectively stabbed every former supporter in the back as he again proved why he’s the Democrat’s favorite Republican.  This is just another example of the treachery committed by RINOs in ‘The Swamp’.  This should not be about Trump, which is what the RINOs and their Democrat friends are desperate to make it about.  What it needs to be about is the working middle class which can no longer afford healthcare and who are essentially being held hostage by the insurance companies and states that have only one insurance provider.  Obamacare has relied on government subsidies to make up for losses incurred by insurance companies, $669 Billion in 2016 alone. It’s not self-supporting.

All of these pathetic RINOs are nothing more than #NeverTrumpsters who clandestinely opposed the candidate of their party in favor of Hitlery.  And make no mistake, there are more than a few #NeverTrumpsters in Congress and oddly enough they have come to believe that their sole purpose is to bring to a screeching halt anything that President Trump wants to accomplish, including the Republican promised “repeal and replace”, which, as it turns out, was for seven long years nothing more than a scam to get votes.  And frankly, I find it rather sad that they seem to hate President Trump more than they love America and that they seem to care very little about their constituents.  Letting Obamacare implode on its own is nothing short of criminal, as  it punishes the working and middle classes the most.  Two groups that the RINOs hate for no other reason than because they chose to support Trump over Hitlery, the candidate they favored.

Sadly, the current crop of Republican leaders seem totally incapable of governing.  They are ‘SUPPOSED’ to be the party of smaller government.  And as such they are supposed to view the government as being the problem and never part of the solution.  They would NEVER even attempt to pass a healthcare bill because their ideology tells them that the government should not have any role in healthcare, it should be something handled entirely by the private sector.  However, this has not been the approach of our current governing party.  What this country needs in order to get headed back in to right direction is strong conservative leadership from those who are not afraid to be called ‘conservative’.  Democrats/Liberals/Progressives or whatever they may wish to call themselves must be relegated to permanent minority status and never again be allowed to achieve numbers that would allow them to gain any significant amount of political power.

Both McConnell in the Senate and Ryan in the House publicly act as if they are supporting President Trump, but behind the scenes they have both been working to undermine him practically since the day he threw his hat into the ring.  They both have spent far too many years up to their necks in ‘The Swamp’ and long ago ceased being part of any solution that would get this country back on the right track.  And I can’t be the only one who has ever wondered why it is that there is never a Democrat who dares to break ranks with his, or her, party on crucial votes, but we can always count on there being more than a few of these RINOs who are willing to stick a knife into the back of their president.  RINOs like McCain, Murkowski, and Collins deserve the Arlen Specter award for treachery.  Perhaps they could follow his example by switching parties and then dying.  But then, I suppose that’s just too much to wish for.

President Trump is a street fighter, and that was exactly what was needed in order to beat the corrupt Democrat machine, and it’s STILL what’s needed to clean house in our corrupt government.  You can’t hire a Boy Scout to deal with a John Gotti.  You gotta get someone that CAN deal with a John Gotti.  And Trump is no less honorable than the people calling him dishonorable, and those who insist upon trying to use prior administrations as a gage for his, are wasting their time.  President Trump is honest enough to let people know what he’s thinking, compared to those professional politicians who stick to messages scripted by focus-group analytics and advisors.  Trump supporters get it, those that have decided to hate Trump whatever he does either don’t get it or don’t want to get it.  I could do some complaining about Trump, but I wouldn’t do it while others are senselessly attacking him from every direction, and for the most inane reasons imaginable.

So far, I haven’t seen President Trump do anything that’s particularly worthy of negative criticism.  The economy’s doing reasonably well, the U.S. hasn’t experienced the refugee/terrorist nonsense that’s plaguing Europe, illegal immigration is WAY down, and there are other things which are genuine accomplishments, such as exposing those in the state-controlled media as frauds, exposing Democrats as frauds and criminals, and now exposing Republicans as being nothing but Democrat enablers, allowing themselves to be willingly pushed around by a party that has control of absolutely NOTHING.  The FACT is that the sort of “honorable,” polite person you’re thinking of would have accomplished NONE of that, and we’d still be totally ignorant about the criminal conduct of the “intelligence community” and the FBI which is now only slowly coming to light.

And on a final note, I just want to say that no matter how pissed off I know we all are right now, at many of our Republican members of Congress, the last thing we should be contemplating, and I mean the VERY last thing, is doing anything that will result in allowing the Democrats to win even one seat in the 2018 midterm elections.  What we actually need, come 2018, is a conservative revolution.  We must never allow the Democrats, or their RINO colleagues, to convince us to surrender.  We must vote for those under the Republican banner, and if those we elect to Congress refuse to fight for us then we must also replace them with someone who will.  Democrats must NEVER again be allowed to achieve any level of political power.  That, no doubt, would bring about the end of this great nation, and that is simply not acceptable.  So put aside the anger and frustration and focus.  Focus on electing only those who will make the people, and the country the priority.  Not themselves.

SADLY, THE TREACHEROUS ‘RINOS’ STILL RUN THINGS…

RINOs 13

Well as we all know the Senate voted Wednesday afternoon against a proposal that would repeal major portions of Obamacare without a replacement legislation.  Senators voted 55-45 against the measure in a procedural vote Wednesday, which likely signals that a full, clean repeal that conservatives are pushing for could not pass the legislative body.  Seven RINOs were among those who voted against the measure: Sens. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia, Susan Collins of Maine, Dean Heller of Nevada, John McCain of Arizona, Rob Portman of Ohio, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.  Senators voted against a proposal to repeal and replace Obamacare Tuesday evening, called the Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA).  The measure failed to pass the procedural vote litmus test, garnering 57 no votes.  So once again these swamp creatures have done little more than to stick their boney fingers right into the eye of conservatives.  And laughed while doing do.

Let’s be honest, shall we, what has been made to happen to our ability to purchase affordable health insurance, is exactly what the Democrats wanted to have happen.  And if any Democrat claims otherwise, they’re lying.  Which we know is something that Democrats excel at.  Because it’s why they came up with this disaster in the first place and used every piece of political trickery available to them in their effort to get it to Obummer’s desk.  This scheme was specifically designed to bring about the Democrats highly sought single-payer healthcare system with the government in charge.  And then we have these disgustingly dishonest RINOs who are only too happy to join forces with their Democrat colleagues to help them accomplish that very thing.  We, as voters, should never vote in such a way that results in more Democrats being able to achieve positions of power.  Nor should we choose to stay home on Election Day, as that is the worst kind of negligence.

So, there are currently three proposals lawmakers are weighing: the Better Care Reconciliation Act, the bill that would institute a full, clean repeal of Obamacare without a replacement and a drastically watered down version of Obamacare repeal, called the “skinny repeal.”  Thus far, two have been shot down by senators.  The “skinny repeal” is believed to be the only way Republicans can pass a bill through the Senate to send to the House for final negotiations. The bill is likely to include a repeal of Obamacare’s individual mandate and the medical device tax — a feature that has a great deal of support in the medical lobbying industry and could help get Senate ‘leadership’ some much needed backing.  Senate ‘leadership’, if you wish to call it that, is desperate to get to 50 votes on some version of health care reform.  Our ‘leadership’ is telling wayward Republican senators that they need to pass a bill, literally any bill, so they can get to negotiations with the House.

I’m as frustrated as the next person regarding how we were first told Republicans needed the House. Then when they got that it was “they need the House ‘and’ the Senate.”  Then when they got that it was, nope, what they REALLY need is the White House.  But because even that too was not enough, the RINOS have now put the ball back into our court.  And since these seven are far from being the only RINOs that we’re forced to contend with, we must focus on making all of them extinct.  Because they are really nothing more than Democrats in disguise.  I’m sure they all had a good laugh at us when voting those many times to repeal Obamacare knowing that it was all for show.  The RINOs were more than willing to REPEAL when they knew Obummer would veto the bill, NOW when we have someone who WILL sign it, the RINOs cannot pass anything that President Trump wants.  This is angering Trump’s supporters and hopefully the RINOs will come to pay for it in the voting booth.

So call me naïve but I still believe the ONLY viable option that we have left when it comes to wrenching power away from these pathetically dishonest RINO’s is to replace as many of them as we can, not with Democrats but with the most conservative Republicans we can find.  Because we simply cannot allow them to grind us down.  And we must also focus on taking out as many Democrats as we can as well.  And if those we elect also choose not to follow through with promises made, then they too will be shown the door.  So this is likely to be a rather long and painful process, to the extent which that it may very well be left to our children to finish.  And if that’s the case then we must be determined in our efforts to ensure that they understand the importance of the task.  So either we’re going to be serious about this, or we’re not.  We need to follow the old adage, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going!”  Because things are going to get tougher before the get easier.

And we can’t be having multiple Republicans competing in the same contest, because that accomplishes nothing more than to provide an easy path to victory for the Democrat in the contest.  We can try to primary them out but the primary loser may choose to run anyway and then we still lose the seat.  Which the RINOs are always quite content to see happen.  And let’s not forget that the Democrats, since they have more seats up in 2018 than Republicans, still provide a target rich environment.  So we do it in stages by replacing Democrats with conservative Republicans in 2018, and sadly the only one on the “no” list up for re-election in 2018 is Heller.  While we may want “instant” results, we must come to realize that it will take years to fix what the Leftist took decades to break.  Hence, we do what the Leftists did as they took over the Democrat party…incrementally.  Just because we don’t like the Leftists doesn’t mean we can’t learn from their successful tactics.

Because these RINOs seem to believe the American voters have no other option than to vote for them, they feel emboldened to do whatever they please.  But in truth, if their actions have convinced us of anything it’s that just because one has an (R) after their name it doesn’t mean they can be trusted.  And they are obviously of the opinion that they can continue to tell us exactly what we want to hear and by doing so can keep getting elected over and over.   So it is going to incumbent upon us, the conservative voters, to become a bit more diligent when selecting who it is that’s to be the recipient of our increasingly important vote.  Look, no one should think that this is going to be an easy task.  ‘The Swamp” is proving to be very deep, very toxic and full of all manner of critters whose only purpose in life, or so it would seem, is to ward off those of us who wish to drain it.  But we must not allow ourselves to be deterred from doing what we all know needs to be done.

And while I am certainly no expert on the subject of health insurance, other than being someone who has got to use it, but it would seem to me that the solution is a relatively simple one, it’s only when politicians get involved that it becomes complex.  We need to simplify health insurance, increase competition among payers by opening up business over state lines to bring down costs, Medicaid block grants to the states; and people don’t need to be using insurance to cover sinus infection visits, same as you don’t use your car insurance to pay for oil changes or flat tires.  The answer is not “giving” people coverage for everything whether they want it or not.  And if you are one of those who chooses not to buy insurance and you get sick, tough luck.  Same as if you don’t insure your house and a tornado hits it.  But at the same time you should also not expect the rest of us to come rushing in to cover your expenses.  Because that ain’t gonna happen!

And I guess what I find the most annoying, and more than just a little disingenuous, is how I keep hearing about that millions of people will wind up ‘losing’ their health insurance if we actually succeed in repealing Obamacare.  But I can’t help wondering since when is having health insurance that you can’t afford to use, because of either exorbitant premiums or astronomical deductibles, the same as actually having affordable health insurance that you are able to use?  And those supporters of this disaster keep telling us how poll after poll shows that support is growing for Obamacare.  Really?  I can’t help wondering if these polls are being conducted by the very same folks who told us, all so confidently, that Hitlery was going to win the election in a landslide?  And too, we are constantly being told how people will die if Obamacare is repealed, but there’s never any mention of all those who died BEACAUSE of Obamacare, were their lives any less important?

LIKE IT OR NOT, THERE’S ONLY ONE OPTION IN 2018…

GOP10

When it comes to draining ‘The Swamp’ I think we’re all beginning to realize that it’s something that just may turn out to be more than just a one man job, even if that man is President Trump.  And since ‘The Swamp’ has been increasing in both size and toxicity for decades we must also realize that it’s not something we’re going to able to drain overnight.  But that doesn’t mean that we should allow ourselves to be dissuaded from doing so, nor should abandon the president if we perceive the process to be moving too slow.  Unfortunately, part of the problem, a big problem, is that it’s a rather sizable portion of ‘The Swamp’ that’s comprised of those folks whom you would at least like to think of as being the good guys.  While of them have may entered ‘The Swamp’ with the best of intentions, over time they became corrupted.

Now I’m sure many folks are as frustrated as I am regarding our Republican members of Congress and their continuing inability, or unwillingness, to get anything accomplished, especially, or so it would seem, if it has anything to do with the Trump agenda.  To the point where I keep hearing threats coming from all directions about how the party will go down to defeat in 2018.  Now make no mistake, I am in no way pleased about what little has been accomplished in the last six months, but at the same time I am certainly in no hurry to put Chuckie Schumer and Nancy Pelosi back in charge of Congress.  That would be the ultimate act of biting of one’s nose to spite one’s face.   And it would be one of the most irresponsible acts the American people, at least those serious about saving our country for our children, could EVER commit.

So how about we step back a bit, take a deep breath and reassess just what it might be that should be our best course of action going forward from this point and over the next 17 months.  First and foremost we’re morons if we do anything other than ignore everything that comes out of the mouth of any Democrat or ANYONE who’s part of the state-controlled media complex.  Because what it comes to anyone in either of these organizations it’s safe to say that if their lips are moving, they’re lying to us.  If there is anyone less deserving of being listened to than someone who proudly identifies themselves as being a Democrat, it’s someone who refers to themselves as a ‘journalist’.  Unfortunately when it comes to deciding what’s best regarding the truly important issues, we have now, apparently, been left to our own devices.

That said, we must never allow ourselves to be talked into voting for someone when we know in our heart it’s a mistake.  And there is also NEVER any reason for staying home on Election Day.  Now as I have said before, if our current batch of congressional Republicans are simply not up to the task of doing what even we the people are smart enough to know needs to be done, then our option, our ONLY option, is not to vote for Democrats but, instead, vote for Republicans whom we feel we can trust, at least until they give us a reason not to.  And if they too prove not to be up to the task as hand, then they too should be replaced.  We know from the get-go that we can never trust anyone in the Democrat Party, so why would we EVER want to elect any of them into a position of power?  That’s insane!

I think we can all agree that the latest attempt to repeal and replace of Obamacare failed because of one very simple fact.  We have far too many RINOs in our midst and far too few conservatives.  So can anyone please explain to me the rationale for wanting to replace these RINOs with Democrats?  Where’s the logic in putting the control of Congress back into the hands of those who created Obamacare in the first place?  Haven’t we learned anything from the last time we did that?  Now I’ve heard some make the claim that doing so would teach those Republicans a lesson, but while that may sound fine in theory, it really accomplishes nothing if our long term goal truly is to “Make America Great Again.”  Because choosing to put more Democrats in Congress serves as nothing more than a sizable speed bump in that process.

Reason must come to prevail here.  Look, we know who the RINOs are, they’ve become pretty easy to spot.  Unfortunately, those in the Senate who conned themselves into re-election in 2016, we’re stuck with.  So we’ll need to look very closely at those Senate Republicans up for re-election in 2018 and if deemed necessary search out the most suitable Republican replacements and force a primary election.  And remember, it’s every single House member, including every single RINO and every single Democrat, who will be up for re-election.  So in that respect in the House it should be a much easier task to remove a significant number of RINOs, chief among them being Paul Ryan.  But we should also take the opportunity to reduce, to the greatest extent possible, the number of Democrats.

There is no doubt that over the coming months there will be a growing number of voices from the left, including many coming from our state-controlled media, that will be doing their very best to convince us that the Republican Party no longer deserves the confidence of the American people when it comes to its ability, and willingness, to govern.  As for myself, I am not yet ready to condemn the entire Republican Party, instead I intend to focus my attention on those specific individuals who, while they may refer to themselves as being Republican have repeatedly proven such a claim is nothing more than a charade.  These people are frauds of the very worst kind, they willingly say one thing to American people and then something entirely different once they get behind closed doors with their Democrat friends.

With the election of Donald Trump as president we who love our country were provided with a much needed opportunity, one that just doesn’t come along all that often.  We were handed control of Congress and the White House.  An opportunity viewed by many on the left as being one that must be squashed at all costs and one that has effectively reduced those in the Democrat Party to little more than a bunch of unhinged lunatics.  Over the course of the last six months the Democrats have pulled out all the stops in their continuing effort to delegitimize Trump’s presidency.  As we have seen, and heard, there is absolutely nothing they will not do or say about the man, his family or anyone who is associated with him or his administration as they persist in continuing as the party of obstruction.

Meanwhile the many serious problems in desperate need of being addressed go ignored.  Whether we like it or not it would appear that much of the task for getting our country headed back in the right direction has now been left to us.  Now we can either act like spoiled children by perpetrating some level of retribution upon the party that we feel may have abandoned us, or we can be a bit more surgical in how we go about our only form of retaliation, the ballot box.  And again, what I mean by that is that we must focus our attention on those in Congress who have continually refused to keep the many promises they’ve made to us in the past and replace them not with Democrats, God forbid, but with the ‘most’ conservative Republicans that we can find and can then convince to run.  That should be our top priority!

And just one final note, to those who would wish to take all of their frustration and anger out on the Republican Party by either staying home on Election Day or, worse, voting for some Democrat, I would only ask if it is really a return to the Obummer years that you are seeking?   And how is it that that would in any way be a good thing for anyone or, for that matter, the country?  Wouldn’t it be far better to focus our attention on punishing the bad apples within the party by seeking out replacements and to then provide them with an opportunity to prove themselves in the effort to get our country back on track?  The dangers of putting the Democrats back in charge are simply too great and, suffice it to say, would be without a doubt the worst possible thing we could possibly do.

HAS ‘TRUMP ACCEPTANCE RESISTANCE DISORDER (TARD)’ GOTTEN TO THE POINT WHERE IT NOW THREATENS THE COUNTRY???

Waters 9

There appears to be a growing number of people in Congress who seem to be exhibiting the symptoms of what can only be described as a rather severe mental disorder.  This disorder seems to be more prevalent among those in the Democrat Party, but does not appear to be confined to Democrats.  And while mental disorders are not typically considered contagious, this new, and rather aggressive, disorder has spread very quickly, infected a growing number of people almost as if they want it to.  And it would appear that in some of them the symptoms have now progressed to the point where the only viable treatment remaining would be for them to be placed in a nice safe environment, for instance one with thickly padded walls.  But to be honest, Democrats are far from being the only ones susceptible, because while as it seems to be spreading like wildfire throughout their party it is also now beginning to affect a growing number within the Republican Party.

And it is in trying to point out just how severe this mental disorder is that I use as my example, Maxine Waters, who seems to have now become so completely unhinged as to actually represent a rather significant danger to herself and the country.  And I find it pretty amazing that we have so many individuals who have now become so completely unstable and yet are still able to maintain their positions of power.  It was Ms. Waters who, during her recent appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” discussed her multiple calls for the impeachment of President Trump and actually went so far as to make the claim that during the 2016 presidential campaign when Trump was calling his opponent, Hitlery, “crooked” and the rally crowds were chanting “lock her up,” it was nothing more than “a play from Putin’s playbook.”  Now just how insane must one be in order to make such a claim, and how can anyone making such a claim continue to be taken seriously?

And when asked what the standard by which Trump should be impeached, Waters said, “I am talking about strategies that were developed working with the Trump campaign. I really do believe that much of what you saw coming out of Trump’s mouth was a play from Putin’s playbook. I think that when you saw him absolutely calling Hillary crooked, the, “lock her up, lock her up” all of that was developed. I think that was developed strategically with people from the Kremlin, with Putin, and I think it’s more than bank records.”  And yet she acknowledged that she has yet to see any evidence of collusion between Trump and the Russian government.  She went through her usual shtick of making vague allegations of cooperation between the Trump campaign and Kremlin “in developing strategy about how they could ensure that Hillary Clinton was not elected.”  Does that not say it all when trying to determine her current mental state as well as her fitness to hold higher office?

But after what was little more than a two-minute diatribe, ‘Mad Maxine’ was finally forced to acknowledge that she has yet to actually see evidence of collusion.  It was Huffington Post editor Sam Stein, of all people, who asked Waters, “But just to be clear, there has been no actual evidence yet?”  Waters responded by saying, “No, it has not been.” And then she went on to add, “No it has not. And I want you to know every time I’ve talked about impeachment I’ve said we’ve got to connect the dots, we’ve got to get the facts, we’ve got to do the investigation. That is what leads to impeachment, and I’ve also said that Trump will lead us right there.”  Does anyone recall this moron having the same level of interest in connecting the dots during any of the many Obummer scandals?  You know, scandals like Benghazi, the IRS, ‘Fast and Furious, Solyndra, the ransom paid the Iran for hostages, the NSA spying scandal, and the lists goes on and on.  And those were genuine scandals!

And while I am not a medical professional, it is my opinion that Ms. Waters can be said to be suffering from delusional behavior, described as: “Delusional disorder is a mental illness in which the patient presents with delusions, but with no accompanying prominent hallucinations, thought disorder, mood disorder, or significant flattening of affect.  Delusions are a specific symptom of psychosis. Delusions can be “bizarre” or “non-bizarre” in content; non-bizarre delusions are fixed false beliefs that involve situations that could potentially occur in real life, such as being followed or poisoned. Apart from their delusions, people with delusional disorder may continue to socialize and function in a normal manner and their behavior does not necessarily generally seem odd.”  Waters and her fellow Democrats, as well as the vast majority of those in our state-controlled media complex, have now become so delusional they don’t even realize they’re delusional.  Now that’s delusional!

And I think it’s become indicative of just how far this country has been made to fall when you have someone like this mental midget who has frequently seen fit to lecture CEO’s of some of the most prominent financial institutions in the world.  I mean here you have someone who has, essentially, never really worked a day in her life and who has managed to do nothing more than live off the taxpayers by holding one public office or another, for the last 44 years, dictating to people who are obviously much smarter than she could ever hope to be, on how it is that they should conduct their businesses.  That’s roughly the equivalent of Albert Einstein being brought before a Kangaroo Court of second graders.  There is nothing that makes the point better when it comes to just how uninformed and, dare I say, ignorant the American electorate has become than the fact that this ignoramus has managed to hold some manner of public office for most of her adult life.

If we’re going to have a ‘Special Counsel’ perhaps he should be looking into is HOW we got to the point where we have Democrats calling for impeachment when even they themselves admit that there’s virtually no evidence of any collusion.  Without the false accusations of collusion, we never would have arrived at this point, just as we would never have arrived at this point without the FBI lawlessly turning it’s investigative authority over to the DNC to phony up an allegation that Russia hacked the DNC when we now know that those ‘leaks’ came from within the DNC itself, leaked by guy who later shows up dead under some rather curious circumstances.  And what about the double felony by the CIA when it concealed that it has a fake-evidence-planting tool specifically designed to hack and leave trace evidence that Russia did the hacking.  So why stop at just one ‘Special Counsel’ when we could probably use a at least dozen to help drain the ‘Swamp’.

This attempt by the Washington Elites, our state-controlled media complex and incompetent and corrupt liberal Congressional politicians, to topple a President in the first 6 months of his Presidency is pure lunacy in large bold letters.  Because in truth, Hitlery & Co lost the election because they were totally out of touch with the American people and they had absolutely no platform of what would be done if they were elected.  And nothing has changed.  The idiots still have not learned the lesson and they continue to allow the inmates of their party to run the Democrat Party. Many Americans believe Washington is totally broken, and you can count me among them. The current hysteria being lead by the Democrats only serves to highlight what the American people believe. Washington is irretrievably broken. The country is on a dangerous path because these very people want power so badly they are willing to risk total chaos in this country to get it.

The only possible solution to this continuing obstruction problem is for voters to exact some level of retribution at the ballot box come the next election.  And by that I do not mean that we should go out and elect more Democrats, because the last thing we need is to have more leftwing kooks like Waters in Congress.  What we need to do, and what we must do, as I have stated before, is to focus on some major house cleaning.  We’re all aware of the issues that President Trump campaigned on and now, courtesy of this ongoing Russian collusion nonsense, we know exactly who it is that’s preventing him from getting those things done.  And it is those individuals upon whom we must be focused like a laser beam, and do all that we can to remove them from office and replace them with those who choose to do something other than to impede and obstruct those things which we all know need to be done if we are to have any level of success in our effort to “Make America Great Again!”

MR. PRESIDENT, I’M EXPERIENCING AN INCREASING LEVEL OF ANXIETY…

Trump 25

When Donald Trump first announced he was running for president I must admit that I never really thought he stood much chance of actually winning.  But I do remember thinking that at least he would make things interesting.  And then as the campaign progressed and candidates dropped by the wayside, while I started to pay him a bit more attention, I still thought that he would likely flameout before ever getting to the finish line.  And finally when it came down to just Trump and Cruz, I tended to side with Cruz, because my main issue with Trump was the question of ‘trust.’  But when Cruz finally dropped out, and Trump became, essentially, the last man standing, I was left with a decision to make.  I knew I was going to vote, staying home on Election Day simply wasn’t an option for me.  And there was no way I was going to be voting for Hitlery or that boob Gary Johnson.  And left me with just one option.  So it was then that I became somewhat of a reluctant passenger on the “Trump Train.”  But still, even then, I had that little voice in the back of my head asking me, “But can you trust him?”

And so, even while listening to that little voice, and praying to God I was doing the right thing, I went off to the polls and I voted for Trump.  And I will admit, that when looking at the alternative, I genuinely hoped he would win.  Because I felt, as I have said before, that Trump on his worst day as president would still be a better president than Hitlery on her best day.  I watched Trump’s inauguration speech and I while thought it was good speech I was more interested in seeing what he would do to follow up on it.  So I watched as things progressed through his first 100 days, and while there were plenty of peaks, there were also some valleys that appeared, and even though I saw them as being fewer in number, cumulatively they were more concerning to me.  I had hoped that on his first day in office he would have summoned the congressional leadership teams from both parties to the White House to ‘discuss’ his expectations going forward.  And I thought he could have been a bit more aggressive regarding the ‘discussions’ on repealing and replacing Obamacare.  He wasn’t and real progress has yet to be made.

Which brings me to the latest issue causing me some level of angst, which is the spending bill.  To say that I am disappointed would be quite the understatement.  And while I applauded Trump’s skipping of the White House correspondents dinner, he’s going to need to do much more than to make speeches during which he talks about doing great things, chief among them the building of “The Wall.”  President Trump has already indicated that he intends to sign this new budget agreement, despite growing dissent from his base that Congressional Republicans once again caved on important conservative priorities.  After an agreement was reached, Democrats crowed that they were able to save funding for Planned Parenthood and block funding for the wall, despite Trump’s campaign promises.  Trump admitted there were not any dramatic cuts, and that it still funded Planned Parenthood in the agreement, but seemed optimistic that he could fight those battles in the future.  And it was again that I heard that little voice.  And all I could do was to shake my head.

Trump blamed Democrats for being “obstructionists” in the process, indicating he was not looking for a showdown over government shutdown in the first months of his presidency.  He said, “Look, the Democrats are obstructionists; that’s all they can do is obstruct. They have no leadership. And we have to agree, and I think both — both sides agree, we have to keep government going, we don’t want to shut government.”  Now he can complain about the Democrats until the cows come home, but that will do nothing to instill any level of confidence in those who continue to support him, which I still do.  Because all I could think of was how it was that he got rolled and our RINO Republicans simply folded, again.  They ended up with nothing, really.  And I also had to admit that it was all kind of embarrassing. And not just for Trump or the congressional Republicans, but for everyone who voted for them.  This ‘budget’, if you can call it that, was nothing short of a total loss for those of us seeking nothing less than successfully getting our country back on track and headed in the right direction.

I used to pay a bit more attention to Charles Krauthammer than I do these days, before he became such an obvious ‘Never Trumper’.  But I kind of had to agree with his assessment of this recent budget disaster.  Because it was when discussing it that he said, “I understand the strategic idea, we’re halfway through the year, only a few months left, this has all been negotiated in the past. You save your fire for September when you do next year. That’s what they say every time. They save their fire, and they don’t use it the next time. Now, Trump has been wonderful, I think, in sort of throwing out a lot of ideas, starting with the gas tax. The Kim idea wasn’t a great idea, but there’s no denying the fact that this was not a win. He was not the winner he said he was or negotiator. This is a total loss.”  And I had to admit that he was right.  There is absolutely no way you can look at this, if you are a conservative, and make the claim that it is in ANY way a victory.  No way at all.  So the little voice that I’ve been forced to contend with got just a little bit louder over the course of the last week.

I did not vote for Trump only to have him compromise with the RINOS and the Democrats.  I voted for him to come in and kick some ass.  Instead, once again Republicans gave the Democrats everything they wanted and I’m sure they had quite the party afterward.  Planned Parenthood, funded.  Sanctuary cities, funded.  All government agencies, funded.  And, wait for it…NO MONEY to begin the wall!   It even has language that prohibits money from being used for a permanent wall or any part of its planning.  The closest thing the money can be used for is for fixing that border fencing.  We gave Republicans everything and still they continue to cave to the left like good little lapdogs. Democrats could not have gotten a better budget with Hitlery as president.  This spending bill should be vetoed.  Period!  This monstrosity is simply a giant FU to those who voted for Trump.  The Republicans in Congress have continually stabbed us in the back going all the way back to 2010 election.  We should have expected nothing less after the 2016 election!  And if Trump signs this bill, he’s telling all of us that he’s willing to go along with them.

ON THE SUBJECT OF POLITICIANS AND TRUST…

744

When it comes to politicians I can probably count the number that I actually trust, to the highest degree I feel comfortable with, on one hand.  Now that said, there are others that I can bring myself to trust, to at least some degree, dependent upon the issue that we may talking about at the time.  But there is one guy that I simply cannot bring myself to trust at all, regardless of the issue being discussed.  And that would be, of course, Paul Ryan.  Now throughout the last presidential campaign I was one of those slow to get onboard the ‘Trump Train.’  And again, that was based almost completely on my certainty of being able to trust Trump do to what he said he would do if elected.  In the end, after being left no other option, I decided to vote for Trump, because voting for Hitlery was just something I could not bring myself to do, nor was sitting out the election an option.

Now fast-forward to nearly 60 days into the Trump administration, and while I have no doubt that I did the right thing in voting for Trump, being someone who tends NOT to put all my eggs in one basket, it’s not yet that I trust him implicitly.  And I certainly don’t agree with him on everything.  For instance, I do not favor this new healthcare bill being advanced in the House, as apparently President Trump does.  And I can honestly say that I am with those registered Republican voters who, according to a recent CBS poll, are much more likely to trust President Trump than Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.  Over the course of the last 8 years, Ryan promised time and again that he would work tirelessly in the effort to curb the ambitions of the radical individual who then occupied the Oval Office.  And not one of those promises, NOT ONE, was kept.  Ryan has earned no one’s trust.

Anyway, in getting back to this recent poll, apparently CBS asked respondents to describe their views about Trump.  Voters were given the option of describing themselves as either “believers,” (21 percent) “conditionals,” (22 percent) “curious,” (21 percent) or “resisters,” (36 percent).  Trump has overwhelming authority over those who described themselves as Trump believers — 75 percent reported they trusted the president as their sole source of political information, and only 2 percent said the same of Ryan.  Twenty-two percent of believers said they trusted both men equally.  Surprisingly, those in both the “believer” and “conditional” support categories agreed that Trump needed “to be his own kind of president,” although the conditionals were more likely to assert that, with 80 percent. Seventy-eight percent of believers reported the same belief.

However, neither group was especially supportive of the new Republican healthcare plan.  Thirty-two percent of believers, which I suppose is the group that I would include myself in, support the measure, and only 11 percent opposed.  Fifty-seven percent of all believers reported it was too early to say if they supported the plan.  Conditionals were less likely to support the plan, with 15 percent approving the bill; 5 percent of those who were curious about if Trump supported the measure. Forty-three percent of voters in that category opposed the plan.  Overall, those who were Trump’s supporters believe that Trump’s claims that he was wiretapped during the campaign are correct, with 64 percent believing Trump’s statements.  Only 14 percent of those who oppose Trump believe the wiretapping claims.  Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that he had.

It’s not surprising to hear that Ryan has such a low trust factor.  And like I said, I’m not in favor of RyanCare no matter what the president may have to say about it.  And I won’t be even if Ryan’s side decides to concede a few small points to the Freedom Caucus in his quest for passage.  It would appear that they think we’re stupid and are trying to make it look like they’ve compromised on a couple of things to satisfy the opposition.  It’s still government run healthcare colluding with health insurance companies against the people.  Open selling across state lines and getting rid of the 30% mandate penalty you’re giving the insurance companies.  The fact there’s a $100 Billion bailout in the bill for insurance companies means when this scheme goes bankrupt, with the American taxpayer is expected to pay for government incompetence and failure yet again.

It goes without saying that those who consider themselves as being Trump supporters would trust the President over Ryan, as well as all the rest of our limp-wristed RINO’s.  Our dislike and distrust didn’t suddenly come to an end on election night nor did it begin at the onset of the last campaign.  And I would strongly recommend to our congressional Republicans that none of them should become too comfortable in their majorities, because come next Election Day, if they continue to put themselves above the people, they could very well come to find themselves on the losing end.  The bungled attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare, their resistance when it comes to the border wall, the fact that they are already complaining about the modest budget cuts being proposed by the president, and the fact they did nothing to pushback against Barry’s anti-America agenda for eight long years, to the detriment of the hardworking taxpayers, makes them unworthy of our trust.
