I’M JUST NOT THAT MUCH OF A ‘FOX NEWS’ FAN ANYMORE…

1020

With the arrival of Donald Trump onto the political scene, and something exacerbated even more by the fact that he managed to get himself elected president, there has been a growing list of those employed there at Fox News for whom maintaining the charade of being “Fair and Balanced” has now become next to impossible.  You know, folks like Dana Perino, John Roberts, Chris Wallace, Bret Baier, Geraldo, Shepard Smith and Juan Williams.  And to that list we can also now apparently add Martha MacCallum.  While I have never viewed her as being an actual Trump supporter she, unlike Megyn Kelly in the past, has usually managed to keep her dislike of the president a little better under wraps.  But apparently that’s no longer the case!

Because during a recent interview with Politico’s “Women Rule” podcast which was released this past Wednesday, MacCallum stated she finds President Trump’s labeling of some things as “fake news” “disturbing.” She also said that the media oftentimes “doesn’t cut him a break.”  Personally I see nothing wrong with the president placing a label on that which it so very obviously is.  Sadly, a very large percentage of what is, today, presented as being ‘real news’, is ,at least as it may relate to the president, is ‘fake.’  There’s simply no other way to describe it.  And I also have no problem with the president’s description of ‘fake news’ as being the enemy of the people.  Because those who spew pure propaganda ARE the enemy of the people!

MacCallum said, “I find it disturbing. I think it’s a mistake. I think there have been mistakes made on all sides of this equation. I think that often, the media doesn’t cut him a break. I think they, many times, don’t give him credit for anything. … On the other hand, when he points at the press in the back of the room and calls them the ‘enemy of the people,’ that is wrong. And it exacerbates the situation, and I think it inflames the media towards him. And unfortunately, we’re all human, so people’s feelings get hurt. And — but I think it puts all of us in a bad place. I think it makes some members of the media unfair to him. And I think it makes him unfair in his broad strokes about ‘fake news.’”

I do find it all rather interesting that the one party that seldom deviates one iota from their socialist/hate-America agenda, the party that quashes all freedom of thought when it comes to minorities in this country with the sense that they should believe nothing other than what they’re told by Democrats, the party that seeks only to ‘redistribute wealth in the name of the greater good’, and who routinely calls out the opposing party as being fascists, racists, white supremacists and Nazis, is seen as being somehow above criticism, while President Trump is not.  Democrats have perfected the art of accusing the Republicans of everything Democrats really do. And the obedient, hypnotized, thrill up the leg masses sing right along with their masters.

Up to know I had always thought that Martha was a bit more objective and therefore less susceptible when it came to falling for the type of fiction we see being spewed on CNN, MSNBC and the alphabet networks and by those who insist upon referring to themselves as ‘journalists.’  They are not, and should be called out for it. President Trump is exactly right in doing as he is doing.  He is a man of the people and we the people are disgusted with the media.  The perpetrators of ‘Fake News’ ARE the enemies of the people and until they are able to see the error of their ways they need to wear Trump’s moniker of ‘fake news’.  And a well-earned it is.  And it’s one they will continue to be made to wear until they change their ways.

As we have progressed through the Trump presidency it would seem that McCallum’s dislike for Trump has now gotten to the point where like so many others on the network, it simply oozes out of her. It’s gotten to the point where I can’t even watch her anymore.  I don’t even turn the channel on until eight o’clock, when Tucker comes on.  From there I watch Hannity followed by Laura Ingraham and then go to bed.  Perhaps Martha and Megyn Kelly, now that she’s out of another job, might want get together and start up their own Trump hating network.  But then with the number of Trump haters growing there at Fox News there may be no need to start a new network.  Hell, maybe Megyn will come back and join the Hate-Trump crowd.

And finally, what I find as being “disturbing” is that by saying that she’s “disturbed” by President Trump’s “attacks” on the media, MacCallum and your fellow corporate sell-outs there at Fox News are essentially adopting the CNN/MSNBC meme, instead of choosing to maintain that which once set Fox News apart from the ‘faux news’ organizations in the first place. The larger point here is President Trump has been, and continues to be, viciously attacked from the very moment he announced he was going to run by all of the networks and nearly 24/7. The man was accused of colluding with Russia, cavorting with hookers and tax cheating, and his family has also been viscously attacked. And yet because he’s president he is not permitted to fight back?

IS FOX NEWS HEADED INTO THE CRAPPER???

Wallace 3

Except for the hour or so in the morning that I’m able to watch ‘Fox & Friends’, and then Tucker and Hannity later on at night, I’ve pretty much given up on watching Fox News.  Most of the other programming has come to differ very little from what you’d expect to see on MS’LSD’ or the ‘Crappy News Network’ (CNN).  And while I wasn’t home to watch the Comey circus, and likely wouldn’t have even if I had been, Thursday on Fox News Channel’s special coverage of the much heralded testimony, “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace said while Comey’s testimony was good news legally for President Donald Trump, “politically” he thought it was “very damaging.”  Frankly, I’m not sure how it is that Wallace ever came to be thought of as someone worth listening to.  Granted, he’s been around a long time but since when does longevity equate to knowing even the slightest about the topic on which you are speaking?  It’s like every time he opens his mouth, shit falls out.

Anyway, it was in discussing Comey and his rather bizarre testimony that Wallace said “If I were Donald Trump’s lawyer I’d be pretty happy, because he repeatedly said up to the day he was fired, Comey said that there was no evidence that led to an investigation of Donald Trump.  He was not under investigation and on the question of obstruction of justice, while he said that was an open question, that will have to be decided by the special counsel Robert Muller. He certainly didn’t indicate that he viewed it as obstruction of justice or at least a prosecutable case. He said he had no doubt that Trump was directing him to end the investigation, but as I say, as a lawyer, I would take some solace in both of those. My guess is when Marc Kasowitz, the president’s lawyer comes out sometime between 1:30 and 2:00 today, he’s going to declare victory and say Comey cleared Trump. And in a legal sense, you could say that he did.”

Wallace then continued by saying, “Politically, I thought it was very damaging to the president. As has been pointed out by Shannon repeatedly, James Comey called the president a liar, said that he lied about the FBI was in disarray, that he defamed him and the FBI, said that the reason he kept those kinds of notes in the first place is that he thought that this was the kind of man who would lie about those kinds of things. It’s not good stuff to have said on national television. And as been noted before, I think the strongest point about Flynn and why it what was so improper what the president said about Flynn in that Oval Office meeting on February 14, as you said, why on earth would you kick out the attorney general, the vice president, and the chief of staff if it was going to be something innocent? That was a very strong evidence.”  Wallace is taking what Comey said as being some kind of recording of the actual events, which it is not.  He is a leaker and a liar.

Evidence, Chris?  Evidence of what, exactly?  That Trump took Comey out behind the woodshed?  Let’s not forget the FBI director works for the Executive Branch and Trump is the current head of the Executive Branch.  I think we can now all agree that Comey is nothing of not a liar.  The FBI can have a three hour meeting with Hitlery with, apparently, not take a single solitary note being made despite the fact that Hitlery has the reputation of being a congenital liar?   Oh, and ask the boys of Benghazi about Hitlery’s truthfulness.  And yet he feels the need to take notes during his Trump meeting because Trump might not tell the truth.  President Trump can legally fire and hire anyone he chooses and is well within his right to stop any investigation.  Yet President Trump didn’t stop the Flynn or the Russian investigations!  There is no crime and there is no obstruction of justice.  Fox seems to be increasing its liberal slant to how it presents the ‘news’ with fewer and fewer exceptions.

Look, what this was was nothing more that Comey exercising some CYA!  Wallace is another one of the ‘NeverTrumper’ crowd currently in the employ of Fox News.  He has had nothing but contempt for Trump from the very beginning and was quick to give Comey a pass.  I mean after one meeting and Comey felt that Trump would lie?  And yet he says the Trump did not try to influence or stop the investigations.  Trump said he hoped he would let it go?  Oh and by the way Trump was never under investigation.  What a fraud Comey is!  What a bunch of bull.  Wallace differs very little from those old ‘Barbie’ dolls with the little string you pulled that made them talk.  I was disgusted when listening to the Fox crowd who were generally promoting the idea that it was a total disaster for Trump and there was clearly more evidence in need of being investigated.  CNN and MSNBC were far less confident of the damage and generally they felt it a victory for Trump.

Fox News is headed down the tubes and Wallace is out front leading the way!  He ran one of the Presidential Debates and, if I remember correctly, it was a debacle!  I can only watch a couple of ‘commentators’ without wondering what the hell they’re talking about.  Wallace denigrates Trump every chance he gets, and has been, essentially, ever since Trump first announced he would be running.  But Trump is far from the only Republican that Wallace enjoys attacking.  Whenever he has any conservative guest on his Sunday show, he tries to destroy them.  When he moderated the debate he closed by asking Trump if he would accept the election results.  Why didn’t he ask Hitlery the same question?  Because he thought Hitlery was going to win in a landslide.  As it turns out it is Hitlery and her basket of deplorable followers who are refusing to accept the “peaceful transfer of power” our country has been recognized for since the very first ‘passing of the baton’ to the successor.

Wallace sprang straight out of the state-controlled media cesspool, the son of a well-known liar and master practitioner of ambush journalism, and has apparently now gotten to the point in his ‘career’ where he no longer feels the need to hide the fact that he’s little more than a left wing, Democrat Party hack.  And I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to hear that he voted for Hitlery.  He’s the perfect example of how it is that Fox News is no longer interested in being ‘fair and balanced’.  His ‘analysis’ of Comey’s testimony only makes sense in a world where Comey would have some level of credibility.  Instead, he revealed himself to be a liar while simultaneously unmasking himself as a leaker, admitted his predispositions to the sitting president, and also displayed both his politicization and lack of understanding of his authority under two administrations.  And Wallace thinks this was damaging to the president?  Good grief.  And he calls himself an objective journalist?

As I said, Wallace is most certainly his father’s son.  He couldn’t find a tree if you parachuted him into the middle of a forest.  But he does appear to be what the ‘new’ Fox owners want as they form ‘another left-wing liberal outlet’.  It started some time ago, I no longer even watch Wallace’s Sunday show, I stopped when he had 3 of 4 very hard left liberals on his ‘panel’ with the 4th being an ‘ think I’m a conservative’.  This is just more of the same, I don’t believe Fox any longer.  Wallace is really no more than a mouthpiece for his new bosses at Fox.  He’s nothing but a tool for the ‘establishment’.  From what I’ve seen there was nothing in Comey’s testimony that was damaging to Trump.  The fact that Lynch was covering up for Hitlery is something those like Wallace in the state-controlled media don’t want to talk ablout, but the Russians?  That’s something they’re willing to report on 24/7/365!  Reminds me of the many times when the media said that Trump’s campaign was dead.

Fox News wonders why they are no longer #1 in the ratings.  Here’s a hint:

FOX NEWS AND VINCENTE FOX TEAM UP TO GO AFTER TRUMP…

Vincenti

In what appears to be yet another attempt on the part of Fox News to torpedo the candidacy of Donald Trump, it was Friday on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings With Maria Bartiromo,” that former president of Mexico Vicente Fox was provided with an opportunity to double down on his prior usage of profane language to say Mexico is not paying for a wall.  And, of course, he also took the opportunity to say that he believes that Trump should drop out of the presidential race, saying, “I would invite this guy to withdraw from the race and go back to his business.”

Senor Fox said, “I can tell you he doesn’t know a little bit about macro-economics, he doesn’t know about history, he doesn’t recognize what NAFTA is all about. This very solid partnership that we have built together, three economies Canada, United States and Mexico. And he should learn that Mexico buys from the United States over a half a billion U.S. dollars worth of trade. And this is what he should consider. Building a wall is stupid. It will go against your best interest.”  Say what? Go against whose best interest?  What the Hell is this idiot talking about?

And then in reacting to Trump saying the “the wall just got 10 feet taller” after Fox’s previous statement, Senor Fox said, “My reaction is it’s more stupid. I mean, that’s a wrong thought. Immigration should be handled in a different manner, that’s why we have a proposal, I feel, in Congress presented by Senator McCain long time ago, that solves and makes the case of migration positive for the United States and Mexico. It’s not attacking everybody, attacking the Mexicans, attacking the Muslims. attacking women, attacking migrants. that’s not the way to go.”

And then Senor Fox went on to say, “That chair for the president of the United States is so elegant, so full of power that only people with ability with intelligence and with compassion have sat in that chair and this guy is out of the world. He thinks that by building a wall, which is only a consequence of the fear he builds inside, he feels fear. Only those who feel fear build walls.”  Fox continued, “I would invite this guy to withdraw from the race and go back to his business and forget about what is a nation and what is the presidency of a nation.”

And it was to the shock of the host that Fox again said, “I am not gonna pay for that f*cking wall, I am not.”  But really, who really gives a flying f*ck what some ex-president of Mexico has to say?  And let’s face it, isn’t it really the drug cartels that run Mexico?  And here’s a better idea, maybe Senor Fox should retire to private life and shut the f*ck up.  He’s just another globalist saying the wall “won’t work” and “is stupid.” Nothing of substance. And with immigrants (legal and illegal) sending $120 BILLION back to Mexico just last year, it is any wonder Fox is concerned about ‘Trump’s Wall?’

I would think Senor Fox would be a bit more forthcoming with aggressive actions towards the Drug cartels that are killing his citizenry making it possible for further illegal activities.  But instead he focuses his attention and his rhetoric on ‘Trump’s Wall.”  Why, because Mexico’s number two source of income is the money being sent back to Mexico from those who, one way or another, come America. Build the wall and we can then watch Vinente Fox continue to sit in his third-world-shithole-of-a-country.  One more reason to get it built.  The sooner the better!

And about NAFTA, this fiasco was poorly conceived and is nothing but a magnet sucking resources and jobs from the U.S.  And in return we get drugs and illegal Mexican parasites and those taking work from Americans. Then consider the treatment of a US Marine in Mexico, not too long ago, for doing nothing more than getting lost. The wall that you will build, Senor Fox, will be the only way to save your economy and fix our relationship. You should consider what would happen to Mexico under a Trump Administration, because it will happen.

So what might we see next from the folks at Fox News?  So far they’ve given a platform to Mitt ‘The Loser’ Romney to do nothing more than to cast aspersions on Mr. Trump.  This after it was Trump who defended Romney when ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid made the same sort of claims against him.  And then they bring on Senor Fox to throw a few more stones at Trump.  What the folks there at Fox seem unable to comprehend is the fact that it’s this sort of stuff only serves to strengthen Trump’s support.  Fox is now seen by many as having now gone over to the ‘Dark Side.”
